Its about of group of gay men various ages struggling with love, careers, and everyday life in general in NYC. There is Adam the main character who is in his 40's who is getting over a messy divorce with his husband Cole of 10yrs and then lost his stock broker job from down sizing. There is Juan, 21 who just came out in medical college and has deal with his family's Catholic faith. Ben who is 25 that likes to go clubbing, taking drugs, and hooking up with random strangers. Also does web cam modeling for means of support. Nicholas who is 35 just came out as bisexual, when his wife came home unexpected caught him in the act with gardener had to come out. He and wife are well known and respect lawyer firm, which now puts a rift in the firm. There is Greg, 65 retired and widow, his husband died from HIV complications. There is Kym there Asian straight girl friend who is nail tech. She is very noisy and loves to gossip, which always gets her into trouble. The theme of the show is when seems life is too hard to deal with, your friends will always be there for you.
