Tracy Kimmell models Team ICE's new baseball uniforms for BOTNS this season (Nike)
This is the official submission thread for the first Battle of the Network Stars event for the 2013-14 season which takes place at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. BOTNS is an ICE's Wide World of Sports production and has been airing since the summer of 2009 so this is BOTNS' fourth season.
There will be seven events for the show and it ends with a mini-football tournament. Whoever avoids last place in the first six events will face each other first and the winner faces last year's champs Team ICE in the main event which will determine tonight's BOTNS winner so it is very important for ROD and SBC to win the first four events. Football always determines the night's winner. All records will count all season as the playoffs start in May and a champion will be crowned on Monday June 30, 2014 in Washington, D.C. that evening.
A fourth team was added to even up the teams. The fourth team will feature NITRO free agents who are not working with any of the big 3 studios SBC, ROD, and ICE. The team will also feature local players from that the host television market. On this episode it will be natives who live in the Kansas City area who will have a chance to play with all types of free agents such as Jennifer Aniston and Alison Brie just to name a couple. This team will be named Kansas City Club and will change its name for whatever city is hosting BOTNS on that particular day.
The Federal Division will start in the competition next season as TSN and PINK will have their separate rosters away from SBC and ICE set by then. There may be a separate league created for those two teams later in the season.
- All results will be posted when the game reaches Thursday in the ratings.
So submit your actors and coaches as soon as possible in each sport. There are 15 positions that need to be filled for the coaching (10) & captains (5) staff. This is very crucial to determine who wins each event. Football is totally separate from the other events as you will have to submit a separate coaching staff for that event but it can be the same coaches. I will make a separate thread for football. You can make changes depending on how the other studios submit their rosters until the game reaches Thursday. GOOD LUCK!
