Katie Holmes visits with ICE in Toronto on Monday August 12, 2013.
New NITRO Insider Samuel Lindstrom is keeping busy this week as studios try add and subtract from their stacked rosters heading into training camp on Saturday. There's also the draft on Wednesday in Philly so this will be one of the most interesting weeks of the new calendar year. The new calendar year in NITRO started on Monday. This round of free agents and their agents are expected to make their final decisions by Wednesday night at the draft.
One of the busiest stories that he's working on right now comes from Chicago where UNO actress Katie Holmes is now going to be offered a contract this week but her name came up in trade rumors last week and ICE tried to make an offer for her but UNO wasn't budging and its being reported that the former ICE Starlet was unhappy with UNO's decision. Now UNO face a situation where they might be losing the 34 year old veteran actress. Katie Holmes was also disappointed that she was never made a member of their executive chain. Katie knows she's getting older and wants to keep up with the power players that's 10-20 years younger than her like Jessica Lowndes and Ashley Greene.
Katie Holmes is said to be very jealous of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ashley Greene who were both named new CEOs last summer. She wants to be in their position and feels that UNO is holding her back to only just being an actress which is something that she's been the past 15+ years since she started on Dawson's Creek in the Hollywood industry. Katie also has tried move closer to home in Los Angeles where she hasn't seen her daughter much as she was considering going to ROD but NITRO Officials never approved a random trade for her which made Katie even more unhappier with her current situation.
Now Katie finally has a chance to make her own decision where she wants to land and she's considering heading back to ICE where she started in NITRO. ICE recently brought back two other veteran executives in Jordana Brewster and Denise Richards in their most recent trade with ICE this past weekend for young upstart General Manager Rick Gonzalez. Katie's agent on the other hand wants her to stay with UNO for at least one more year before moving on so her value goes up for her next contract her agent is considering the west coast moves also and or working with Courteney Cox in Paris.
Justin Timberlake has been moved around a few times since 2012. JT looked to have a good situation with Eminem at ROD but once Ashley Greene took over he was ousted and Justin went back to TCC. There's no word right now where he will go or if he will decide to stay with TCC. JT either way it goes wants an executive position just like Katie Holmes in NITRO somewhere. Justin is open to going to UNO in Chicago where his friend Mila Kunis works at but JT is also considering taking variety job at ICE which might be open if JT comes there, right now Ken Lee is manning the position. JT really wants to takeover a studio that focuses on the variety genre and take on that executive position as JT wants to design some new variety series and even have one of his own as a bonus to any of the networks.
In Paris, Vanessa Anne Hudgens who just got traded to SBC really likes her situation there so she may stay put but as always there's possibility something changes in the next two days where she decides to leave.
Twisted actors Avan Jogia, Maddie Hasson, Kylie Bunbury, and Brittany Curran are all young and valuable they will all be getting mad offers this week b/c they will have an easy chance of being a top 100 actor this season. Avan Jogia likes his situation at ICE working with his Victorious castmates and working with Denise Richards who plays his mother on Twisted. Avan has also gotten outreach from Liz Gillies at SBC so this could be tough since SBC has great interest even making trade offers for him last week that got shutdown. Maddie, Kylie, and Brittany are way up in the air right now and studios that need younger actors need to grab one of them and build their studios around them and the draft picks that they will be receiving in a couple of days.
Taylor Kinney and Catherine Bell provides more veteran talent opportunities for studios who need to fill roles on their shows this fall.
All in all Samuel feels that this round of free agents is really good and that studios should try to grab as many of these actors that they can.
