LSP has announced the following tidbits:
They plan to release a three-part movie series adapting the entire set of events from "The Bible."
They also plan to make a biopic of the legendary Al Capone as well as the famous drag queen, Divine. They also have plans to make a Michael Jackson biopic, among others.
They plan to announce their upcoming, 2010-2012 Oscar Contender roster in the next few days.
They plan to announce a surprise 2009 fall release that will get BIG buzz and will be pretty secretive until its release (similar to adverts for District 9 and Avatar).
They are adapting "A Tale of Two Cities" for a fall 2009 release. Signed on to the film currently are Edward Norton, James Marsden, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, and Robert Downey, Jr.

I can't wait for this Spencer. Will some of those mini-series be on Uniworks?
Hopefully you guys at Labyrinth Searchlight will bring a worthy competitor to World Pictures' big release of Sweet Innocence in November which is getting a lot of critical buzz at the summer festivals as BlueLick told me last week.

I like the cast for Tale of Two Cities. Plus, it's one of the better Dickens' works.

A Tale of Two Cities? I thought that was an awful book. I read it about two months ago, and I wanted to fall asleep. Hopefully the movie can be better.

Joke, I hated the book, too...well, I liked the story, but it was just too damn long to read. If someone made a DECENT movie out of it, or read the major points to me, I would've liked it more. I hated the writing. Then again, I hate the way Shakespeare rights...Go figure. Proxio, I have A Tale of Two Cities, The Voice Within, Just Breathe, and many other Sundance Film selections opening up in 2009. And the Bible Films will be released IN THEATERS. Hobbes, thanks for the comments. I spent about 30 minutes to determine the cast when I first started writing the project.
