English contestants ran the streets of London invisible bras on. (New Girls in Town Pageant) (Paramount Television) This is the 50th night of the 2013-14 Television season on Thursday October 24, 2013.November Sweeps starts tonight as they won't end until December 2, 2013.
National Division - Major league broadcasting networks that are capable of currently reaching 73% of the world with working television sets. That percentage is expected to grow throughout the season as NITRO gets established in 20 more countries. These networks were apart of the original 8 networks back in the summer of 2009. These networks include ICE, SBC, and ROD. Federal Division - Netlet or minor league broadcasting networks that are only capable of currently reaching 51% of the world with working television sets. This division is home to most of the new networks and second networks of the National Division studios such as Pink (ICE) and TSN (SBC) and these networks are in their first year NITRO in the 2013-14 television season. These networks include PINK, TSN, and Uniworks. TEN might end up in this division but I have to realign the divisions by Monday and we'll know for sure by then. Georgia May Foote (ICE Starlets), New Girls in Town Pageant (Paramount Television)FIRST PLACE FINISHES 2013-14 SEASON1. ICE (9) 2. ROD (1) 3. SBC (1) 4. PDN (0) (9 in Federal) 5. TEN (0) (1 in Federal) 6. TSN (0) (1 in Federal) Thursday marked the first night of the first sweeps period of the season where ad-revenue goes up and makes more money for the studios for the whole month so the networks from time to time throughout these next 39 nights will be programming big special events. ICE'S HUGE SEPARATION FROM THE OTHER NETWORKS ON THURSDAYSOn this eighth Thursday of the season things have looked the same since that very first Thursday of the season which was also the first night of the new season back on September 5th as ICE has been whooping the other network's badly ever since then. ICE has become true must see television on Thursdays this fall as there's other night of the week except a little bit on Saturdays where we have this kind of domination at the top by one network and there's such a huge gap between ICE and the rest of the networks on Thursdays right now. For NITRO's 4th full season of action this is the scariest couple of stats to-date. Last night ICE averaged 33 million more viewers than the second place network ROD who had 40 million viewers against ICE's 73 million. The other stat is just crazy the lowest rated network on Thursday was Uniworks and that had ICE's 73 million to Uniworks' 5 million viewers a 68 million viewing difference between the two networks. That is unbelievable and the overall audience watching NITRO was 208 million viewers worldwide on Thursday and at least 35% of those viewers were watching ICE and that doesn't include the number of people channel changing and watching at least 6 minutes of ICE programming. The other networks have really struggled to find anything to really program against this lineup especially when it goes live in that 9pm hour for their live TV tapings after Teen Angels which is a taped drama but there was an interesting counter-program in that 8pm hour that ROD may have figured out as Miss Roderick Pageant had 55 million viewers which is the most viewers against ICE since that opening Thursday in September. With Miss ROD being a live program in that 8pm hour against a taped ICE program it was able to penetrate some of those viewers and then ROD was smart to take the rest of the night off once ICE switched over to live programming over in London in the middle of the night local time there. It's gonna take smart scheduling like this to even punch a dent into ICE's ratings on Thursday nights for the rest of the fall. Onto the action Teen Angels led the 8pm hour as the new hit drama is starting to pickup some steam as for the second week in a row it had over 60 million viewers and held off ROD's pageant. Ally continues to get hot as well having a similar trend that Teen Angels had being over 70 million two weeks in a row. NITRO's top program at the moment is Youth of Life and that program garnered 81 million viewers making it NITRO's third most watched program to-date for Youth of Life's fourth episode. Youth of Life is easily must see television and the biggest assembly of young superstar talent that you will ever see in a program. Keira Knightley guest stars on Actors with Jessica Lowndes entertaining her homeland countrymen at the O2 Arena. (Actors) (Paramount Television)THE PAGEANT BATTLEAlthough this battle didn't take place head-to-head it was interesting to see the numbers as New Girls in Town gained a season-high 74 million viewers holding 90% of the Youth of Life lead-in so this type of exposure can take ICE's pageant to the next level. In comparison ROD's pageant had 55 million viewers with no help so it's hard to really analyze the two pageants at the moment. New Girls in Town closed out their auditions for this season over in London and had a huge surprise appearance from English favorite Georgia May Foote who was an actor on a popular soap over there for many years decided to make a surprise appearance and audition for the competition. The English pageant contestants who auditioned on Thursday are at a huge disadvantage because callbacks are this Saturday. As for ROD this is a really strong number for their pageant because this will give them a lot of confidence in it. Actors capped off the night holding 99% of the lead-in as Keira Knightley guest stars. For ROD they had a below-average night but a better number for their original TV movie. SBC has struggled the last couple of nights badly losing to PDN again for 3rd place in the overall ratings rankings. This is not good anytime a National Division network loses to a Federal network. SBC faces some tough shit right here as they have to find something to replace Drama's Place during the rest of sweeps as DP moves to daytime to start a new SBC soap block. Seattle Mysteries held up well at 9pm but Nat & Alex Wolff are so 2009 and are not longer a hot pair. In order for SBC to really compete on this night and avoid losing to PDN again they're going to need some stronger programming to go against ICE. SBC is still at only 5 points trailing ROD's 8 points. WFL BEATS THE NFL SOUNDLYSpeaking of PDN they've accomplished a couple of things on Thursday as they were able to dominate their division in every slot and one of this week's biggest stories is the development of WFL Football becoming huge competition to the NFL in NITRO Television and WFL beat the shit out of Thursday Night Football over on TSN by almost 20 million viewers but you can use the excuse that PDN had the bigger lead-in but that's TSN's fault for not giving the NFL a bigger lead-in. This is why Roger Goodell is really worried about losing ICE as a TV partner. The update on that story right now is that this weekend will be ICE's last with the NFL as they will move most of their games over to Sunday afternoons starting on Sunday November 3, 2013 so this is a quick development as the NFL will have new networks TEN and RTN as their new TV partners. The other accomplishment is that Fugitive at 17 garnered 40 million viewers which made it the second most watched non-ICE program on the night. This is good news for PDN since that was against their sister shows Ally and Youth of Life so on Tuesday they might be able to get a bigger number against lighter competition. For the rest of the Federal Division, TSN won the second spot getting another point due to Thursday Night Football but disappointment was TEN which reached Uniworks type numbers the rest of the evening after Paranoid. One thing that TEN needs to work on going forward is building really good blocks around. TEN understandably is getting these numbers because they are just starting out so that's okay but now with RTN becoming their closest competition starting next week they will need to get a jump on them. Nobody watches Uniworks! Tomorrow is the first Friday sweeps edition where we will see if Sheila Carter can reach 70 million viewers for ROD and if Full House can rebound after last week's drop as it has the World Series as the lead-in. It will be interesting to see what the World Series scores because this actually might be easier competition than SBC's regular TGIF lineup so ROD could have a huge night here. Here's the catch though for the first time this season ICE is going more competitive at they will throw out a special edition of The Carpenters Hour auditions from London which were taped on Thursday so they aren't live tomorrow which could affect their numbers. The Hour goes head-to-head against Sheila Carter btw at 9pm. Sam & Brian: Friends premieres tomorrow in late night after Topanga at 12:30am against Country Made and Uptown Murders.

Below are your financial stats for your studio's network(s). They are released on Thursdays which is also attendance day in NITRO and payday and it always starts the new financial week or pay period which is why sweeps starts on Thursdays. Your job is to profit off of your weekly budget and if your status is in red and it says not healthy then your network is in bad shape and needs to be worked on before the December 2nd deadline when NITRO Officials will cancel some of your shows for you and you don't won't that to happen. If it's in green obviously your all good and healthy and your network is profiting off of your weekly budget. These budget numbers will change more once you guys start purchasing actor's contracts and along with premium television programs, pilots, and movies on the Open Market. Study this chart and compare your shows with the other network's shows so you can see where you need to be. If you're not making any money on certain shows then they might need to be cancelled. You can always use the end of this sweeps period to determine what shows will get a full season or get cancelled. Your studio will not have to pay off your budget losses until Black Monday on Monday December 2, 2013 so make as much as you can before that day or your studio will be in a dangerous financial situation. This chart is based off your schedule for the week of October 21-27, 2013 and Thursday starts the first sweeps period of the season on October 24, 2013 where advertisers will pay your programming more money than usual during sweeps periods that's why networks usually go with special programming and big events during this period. The last night of November Sweeps will be on Sunday December 1, 2013. Below are two set of scales that will let you know how much money your shows should be making. The first scale set will be for the pre-sweeps period from Monday-Wednesday then the second scale set is for the sweeps period from Thursday-Sunday. The numbers get bigger starting on Thursday so the expectations of how much your shows should be making goes up. NATIONAL DIVISION ADVERTS PRE-SWEEPS SCALE (OCTOBER 21-23, 2013):Very Bad: $0-$100,000 Bad: $100,000-$250,000 Average: $250,000-$400,000 (bubble shows) ( goal is $400,000) Good: $400,000-$1,000,000 million Very Good: $1,000,000+ million (blockbuster shows and record ratings players) Highest: $2,500,000 (record established on October 17, 2013 by Youth of Life on ICE) FEDERAL DIVISION ADVERTS PRE-SWEEPS SCALE (OCTOBER 21-23, 2013):Very Bad: $0-$100,000 Bad: $100,000-$200,000 Average: $200,000-$300,000 (bubble shows) (goal is $300,000)Good: $300,000-$600,000 Very Good: $600,000+ (blockbuster shows and record ratings players) Highest: $1,400,000 (record established on October 21, 2013 by Monday Night Football on PDN) NATIONAL DIVISION ADVERTS POST-SWEEPS SCALE (OCTOBER 24-27, 2013):Very Bad: $0-$200,000 Bad: $200,000-$400,000 Average: $400,000-$800,000 (bubble shows) ( goal is $600,000) Good: $800,000-$2,000,000 million Very Good: $2,000,000+ million (blockbuster shows and record ratings players) Highest: $5,119,000 (record established on October 24, 2013 by Youth of Life on ICE) FEDERAL DIVISION ADVERTS POST-SWEEPS SCALE (OCTOBER 24-27, 2013):Very Bad: $0-$150,000 Bad: $150,000-$300,000 Average: $300,000-$600,000 (bubble shows) (goal is $400,000)Good: $600,000-$1,000,000 million Very Good: $1,000,000+ (blockbuster shows and record ratings players) Highest: $1,430,000 (record established on October 27, 2013 by Sunday Night Football on TSN) Current Bank Account NumbersCurrent Bank Account NumbersYour weekly budgets might go up next week so you guys need to make even more money during sweeps especially during this sweeps period. Rena Sofer (ROD Knockouts), Sheila Carter (Sony Pictures Television)Sam & Brian: Friends Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Chelsea Kane SBC-TV (Channel 4) Friday October 25, 2013 12:30a-1:00a FRIDAY: If it's Friday then it must be another good showdown between ROD and SBC and Fridays mean that ROD's evil cold duo of Sheila Carter and Quinn Fuller are back to kill off more victims in the Los Angeles area in this increasing popular primetime soap that has fueled ROD's Friday lineup into a top 5 lineup of the week taking the shine away from SBC's TGIF lineup as they scramble to improve their ratings for the night around their three-headed monster of Full House, Step By Step, and Topanga but on Friday that lineup is pre-empted by the World Series but Full House and Step By Step will get special late night airings at 11pm so this could be good as the comedies were down last week against ROD's new monsters The Stella Sisters and Somethin' Bad. Also at midnight against Country Made, SBC will give Topanga and the premiere of Sam & Brian: Friends special airings as well. Bella Thorne's hit variety series is currently on hiatus airing its final episode for a minute last week so that gives Sara Sampaio the opening she needs but ICE is going to be real strong for the first time this season as The Carpenters Hour airs its first Friday edition for the first time this season as they near the close of their audition process looking for talent in England and before that PM North America has a special edition documenting the auditioners who made it this season from tomorrow's pageant in Boston at 9pm. Since Tahj Mowry came over to ICE he has been on fire with his popularity growing and he is likely to appear somewhere on the top 100 actors list that comes out on November 11th during Night of Champions he is currently ICE's fourth top male in the studio as of right now. Tahj Mowry has a busy night though as earlier in the night he has to host the callbacks in the pageant known as Boston Suicides due to its quick pace nature selection process. G. Hannelius comes back home as she officially becomes an official regular on Youth of Life. Later in the night Pretty Thieves prepares its move over to PDN with its final original airing on ICE. First off Proxio nice work on the new logo, I like it and it's NITRO's best logo to date
After looking at these ratings on Thursdays all season I don't see anybody beating ICE on this night because Youth of Life made this night untouchable for ICE but I think what ROD and even PDN did was interesting they remained competitive for 2nd and 3rd place by just placing programs that can pop between 40-60 million viewers that's what the other struggling networks should do just find good counter-programming

Carrie Underwood (President): Miss Roderick Pageant will not be airing on Thursdays going forward as it will air on Wednesdays and Fridays with Fridays being the elimination show. We have decided that after this week we will be making a switch here and air Sara Sampaio's Variety Hour on Thursdays at 8p starting on Nov. 7 and Miss ROD will air on Fridays at 11p after Sheila Carter starting on Nov. 1 and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Undercover will move to Thursdays behind Sara Sampaio's Variety Hour. We will add in a new show for the Friday lineup starting on Nov. 8 to take advantage of the success were having there.

Sheila Carter (Sony Pictures Television)Finally for the first time in NITRO history during the regular season a non-ICE program crosses the 70 million viewer mark into the most watched programs list. That program ends up being the new Friday night favorite "Sheila Carter" which grabbed a series-high 71.23 million viewers at 10pm on ROD making it the most watched program of the night. Most people thought that SBC would be the first network to cross that mark since Full House most of the season consistently rated between 60-70 million viewers but Sheila Carter changed the game plan on that the last few weeks growing more and more. Sheila Carter has easily become the most watched primetime soap on the air right now in NITRO Television. Most of the reason why Sheila Carter has been so successful is because Fridays at the start of this season has been ICE's weakest night of the week so it has become an open season night for ROD and SBC to pickup extra viewers over in the National Division. It's also been able to maintain a tradition has been around in NITRO since the very first few Fridays of coverage in NITRO as a traditional soap drama night. Sheila Carter will be airing special back-to-back episodes next Thursday to compete against her new serial killer rival Heather Daniels. Although SBC's Janit O'Day spin-off "Heather" which premieres next Thursday and airs its second episode on Friday is more of a crime drama and police procedural than a soap opera it is still considered a perfect Friday night type show. This battle should be very interesting as both shows are popular brand names in NITRO. Next week ICE tries to get in on this action as well with their mystery soap "Who Wanted Nichole Dead?" so we will have ourselves a great showdown next Friday. More details on the full ratings picture from Friday will be released soon. The dominance displayed here by ICE is shown here in the most watched program chart (October 12, 2009-October 25, 2013):
