US track runner Georganne "Georgie" Moline took part representing America in a huge televised practice race down in Australia in which she upset speedster Wendy Robertson of Canada. (Wendy Robertson Practice Run) (ICE's Wide World of Sports) This is the 48th night of the 2013-14 Television season on Tuesday October 22, 2013.November Sweeps starts in a couple of days on Thursday. Tomorrow will be the last non-sweeps day until December 2, 2013.
National Division - Major league broadcasting networks that are capable of currently reaching 73% of the world with working television sets. That percentage is expected to grow throughout the season as NITRO gets established in 20 more countries. These networks were apart of the original 8 networks back in the summer of 2009. These networks include ICE, SBC, and ROD. Federal Division - Netlet or minor league broadcasting networks that are only capable of currently reaching 51% of the world with working television sets. This division is home to most of the new networks and second networks of the National Division studios such as Pink (ICE) and TSN (SBC) and these networks are in their first year NITRO in the 2013-14 television season. These networks include PINK, TSN, and Uniworks. TEN might end up in this division but I have to realign the divisions by Monday and we'll know for sure by then. Vanna Brown (ROD Knockouts), The L.A. (Sony Pictures Television)FIRST PLACE FINISHES 2013-14 SEASON1. ICE (7) 2. ROD (1) 3. SBC (1) 4. PDN (0) (7 in Federal) 5. TEN (0) (1 in Federal) 6. TSN (0) (1 in Federal) It was a pretty tight night of competition but Jessica Lowndes and her ICE network escaped with another first place victory as ICE captures their 7th first place victory of the season thanks to a steady strong lineup that averaged between 50-60 million viewers for each show. ICE got the night started off right as Wendy Robertson's practice run down under in Brisbane in Queensland reached 51 million viewers in that 8pm hour as people are realizing it's getting close to time trial time for the Winter Athletic Games starting on November 19th up in Milwaukee. The huge upset pulled off by Team USA track star Georganne Moline beating Wendy Robertson was obviously something widely talked about and could really have an impact on the the third and final practice run coming in November. Kay Shields will have a run this Saturday afternoon in Boston according to ICE sources. Next was Janit O'Day which will be airing its final episode before moving to Mondays starting on November 4th. Then New Girls in Town Pageant capped off the night in its new timeslot at 10pm edging out The L.A. on ROD. New Girls in Town is airing a couple of more times this week as they wrap-up their audition process this Thursday in London and start callbacks on Saturday in Boston. DRAFT PICK VANNA BROWN OFF TO A NICE START AT RODEver since ROD CEO Ashley Greene restructured her Tuesday lineup the network has been real hot lately on this night as Saved By the Bell: The Adult Years is becoming a real star there at 8:30pm but unfortunately the competition against Australian Nights has been bleeding behind it. ROD may have picked up another ratings winner behind Sara Sampaio as their 3rd pick of the draft Vanna Brown made her ROD and NITRO debut joining the cast of The L.A. on Tuesday night helping the show get 57 million viewers which was almost close to beating the pageant over on ICE. The L.A. had been averaging 54 million viewers before this so Vanna Brown helped the ratings go up as well as ICE moving Pretty Thieves out of that slot as well helped but it will be a tough road once they start facing a more powerful version of the pageant in a couple of weeks. SBC has been pretty good all season on Tuesdays and they kept that up with another strong rating for anchor Tough Chick leading off in front of American Juniors which continues to be one of this season's biggest surprises. American Juniors drew in 49 million viewers at 9pm beating ROD's Australian Nights and only trailing Janit O'Day by 5 million viewers. The extra exposure has helped American Juniors as they move into the Hollywood round this week which is that show's version of Detroit Week bridging the start of the competition. The Popular Girls Primetime Show has been doing really well since moving away from Saturday late nights where it had to face one of the top shows on all of TV in Diamond Girls. SBC has a pretty nice trio right now. Let's see if SBC keeps American Juniors on the main network instead of moving it back to TSN where its been pre-empted by playoff baseball action the last couple of weeks. Next Tuesday will be interesting because ICE will run a boot camp edition of The Carpenters Hour so this could affect what SBC does with AJ next week. It is not known what slot The Hour will be in though. Over in the Federal Division, we had a change in leadership as PDN came in 6th place behind TSN and TEN which dominated with huge performances. There was some concern over this year's playoff ratings for Major League Baseball but the drawing power of the Boston Red Sox saved this series as the first game reached 39 million viewers so this is good news for this weekend's games which can stay in that area and give TSN another division victory as they received their first win of the season and got 2 more points. TEN was not far behind as their last two Tuesdays have been really good for them as Elizabeth Olsen's led premiere of Life Goes On got off to a surprisingly strong start as the key for TEN and some of their shows have been the fact that they've been cast well. The shows on Tuesday also had a good flow between the viewers keeping them from changing the channels as Melody's Life and Family Troubles had strong ratings. All of the shows got the rating similar to what Vampire Life got the night before so this is a good sign. If it wasn't for the World Series this night would've won the night which is a shame because PDN will have Fugitive at 17 and Pretty Thieves opposing that lineup next week. PDN took the night off but did bring back fan favorite Tuesday Night Jem which got 22 million viewers. Starting next week in this division we will have a new network join the NITRO Television landscape. Tomorrow the focus is all on ROD and probably their biggest premiere of the new season so far in the new Miss ROD Pageant competition which launches behind a block of successful new comedies including Carrie Underwood's Somethin' Bad. ROD will be live in Jacksonville tomorrow and are close to reaching a sellout as they need to sell about 380 more tickets by 6pm tomorrow for Ashley Greene and Sara Sampaio's huge Jacksonville homecoming celebration. Opposing them will be ICE who will air special editions of their new hit comedies Babs & Kya and Bastard Kids. Also PDN will have Allison Shields in roller derby action over in London. SBC has Halloween episodes of Miami's Friends and Topanga. More American Juniors Hollywood round, pt. 2 on TSN. TEN has Teens on tomorrow as well at 8pm leading off. It should be a big night as this will be the final non-sweeps night before November Sweeps starts on Thursday.

BIGGEST PREMIERE: Starting on Thursday launches the first sweeps period of the new season so expect to see a lot of huge special events scheduled throughout the next month but the night before sweeps starts ROD will have the honors of this week's biggest premiere as they will roll out their new series "Miss Roderick Pageant" which is a new beauty queen competition being produced to take on the success of this season's most surprising successful new program "New Girls in Town Pageant" over on ICE which has revolutionized the start of a brand new type of reality competition and variety show. ROD is hoping that they will be able to take some shine away from ICE's pageant after a bad run the past 5 years of finding a compatible opponent for The Carpenters Hour just like SBC as well. Miss Roderick Pageant start its run live on Wednesday live from Jacksonville eliminating at least 100 contestants and will continue on Thursday when sweeps starts getting rid of 25 more of them. Miss Roderick Pageant LL Cool J, Jill Wagner ROD-TV (Channel 5) Wednesday October 23, 2013 10:00p-11:30p WEDNESDAY: ROD is live from Ashley Greene and 2013 top studio draft pick Sara Sampaio's hometown of Jacksonville, Florida as they will be taping their programs from the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena as they are hoping to get their first sellout of the season. Vanna Brown will make her debut joining the cast of The Adult Years. New hit comedies The Stella Sisters and Somethin' Bad tape their third episodes live as well and capping off the night will be the premiere of the new anticipated beauty queen competition "Miss Roderick Pageant" which will close out the night at 10pm and the show is hosted by LL Cool J and Jill Wagner. Over on Jessica Lowndes' network ICE the 8pm hour will see some more of their comedies get tested as both Bastard Kids and Babs & Kya air on a special night to compete with the ROD comedies. SBC goes with a few Halloween specials as Miami's Friends and Topanga air Halloween themed episodes. Olivia Holt will launch her new revenge series with a Halloween Party. Teens has a special major event over on TEN while TSN airs American Juniors Hollywood rounds. PDN will have live sporting coverage featuring Allison Shields and Team Canada in action against Team England in a special primetime roller derby doubleheader as they get ready for the time trials in November. THURSDAY: It's that time of year again when the first sweeps period of the season starts as November Sweeps launches on Thursday and the Must See TV lineup returns as the Paramount Pretty Comedies are back live this time for the first time this season over in jolly ol' London, England across the Atlantic. The lineup will be pre-empted next Thursday for Scary ICE Night so they are running Halloween themed episodes for their hit comedies as Scary ICE week launches which include Youth of Life which is currently NITRO's most watched program. New Girls in Town Pageant closes its audition process for this season. The Miss Roderick Pageant continues over on ROD still live from Jacksonville. Sam & Brian: Friends Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Chelsea Kane SBC-TV (Channel 4) Friday October 25, 2013 12:30a-1:00a FRIDAY: If it's Friday then it must be another good showdown between ROD and SBC and Fridays mean that ROD's evil cold duo of Sheila Carter and Quinn Fuller are back to kill off more victims in the Los Angeles area in this increasing popular primetime soap that has fueled ROD's Friday lineup into a top 5 lineup of the week taking the shine away from SBC's TGIF lineup as they scramble to improve their ratings for the night around their three-headed monster of Full House, Step By Step, and Topanga but on Friday that lineup is pre-empted by the World Series but Full House and Step By Step will get special late night airings at 11pm so this could be good as the comedies were down last week against ROD's new monsters The Stella Sisters and Somethin' Bad. Also at midnight against Country Made, SBC will give Topanga and the premiere of Sam & Brian: Friends special airings as well. Bella Thorne's hit variety series is currently on hiatus airing its final episode for a minute last week so that gives Sara Sampaio the opening she needs but ICE is going to be real strong for the first time this season as The Carpenters Hour airs its first Friday edition for the first time this season as they near the close of their audition process looking for talent in England and before that PM North America has a special edition documenting the auditioners who made it this season from tomorrow's pageant in Boston at 9pm. Tahj & Malena Sex Show Tahj Mowry, Malena Morgan ICE-TV (Channel 7) Saturday October 26, 2013 12:37a-2:09a SATURDAY: The first big special event scheduled inside of this sweeps period will be "Tahj & Malena Sexy Show" which will be coming to you live from New England in Boston, Massachusetts at the TD Garden which is already sold out. The sex special features sexy pornstar Malena Morgan and her partner Tahj Mowry from Bastard Kids and New Girls in Town Pageant also guest music performers include hometown heroes The Bee Gees, New Edition, Bill Bev DeVoe, and New Kids on the Block to sex up the night. This will be the first sex special to feature co-genders involved in the show. Since Tahj Mowry came over to ICE he has been on fire with his popularity growing and he is likely to appear somewhere on the top 100 actors list that comes out on November 11th during Night of Champions he is currently ICE's fourth top male in the studio as of right now. Tahj Mowry has a busy night though as earlier in the night he has to host the callbacks in the pageant known as Boston Suicides due to its quick pace nature selection process. G. Hannelius comes back home as she officially becomes an official regular on Youth of Life. Later in the night Pretty Thieves prepares its move over to PDN with its final original airing on ICE. The network premiere of "Heather 2" airs on PDN for Scary ICE and the premiere of those same pageant contestants lives will be followed on the series premiere of New Girls in Town After Dark at 2am. Austin Mahone's new late night show will debut at 1:32am as he makes his official SBC debut. SUNDAY: It's been a long 8 weeks but The Carpenters Hour finally closes its audition process in Boston as boot camp starts on Tuesday and after that on ICE a Halloween event like no other takes place live as Overnight Nurses has its first annual Halloween special in the Haunted Hospital. ROD rolls out its dramas again and will give daytime soap "LA Passions" the 10pm boost. On the SBC networks we will have a switch due to the World Series airing on SBC and Sunday Night Football which comes off of a record audience last week airs on limited TSN. Diff'rent Strokes and Gimme a Break! gets the World Series boost. NEXT WEEK (OCTOBER 28-NOVEMBER 3, 2013): November Sweeps kicks off into high-gear with a full week of action starting with the huge premiere of the new revolutionary mystery soap opera "Who Wanted Nichole Dead?" where you the viewers follow the clues and figure out who wanted Nichole dead. Keeping it with ICE here they have a huge week for their reality competitions as both The Carpenters Hour and New Girls in Town Pageant go through the grind of boot camp and the infamous and intimidating Detroit Week which a lot of people have explained to be the best week of television you will ever experience with Detroit Week if you want to see the pressures of making it to the big show this is it. On Halloween night we will have the premiere of a few new TV movie events such as the highly-anticipated Halloween reboot "Hospitality" as Michael Myers' niece wrecks havoc all over a Chicago hospital to find her uncle Mike and the 3-year wait for the sequel of "Girl Games 2" are both coming out and ROD will be unleashing "When a Stranger Calls IV" and "Angela" which is a Sleepaway Camp reboot doubleheader event along with a special Thursday episode of Sheila Carter. Over on SBC they will have the huge series premiere of the Janit O'Day spin-off "Heather" you can catch the 3-day premiere event on Friday and Saturday also. Speaking of Janit O'Day franchise shows Pretty Thieves moves over to PDN on Tuesday with Fugitive at 17. FUTURE NOTABLE PREMIERE (OCTOBER 31, 2013): The scariest female in the world is serial murderer and rapist Heather Daniels and for the first time in 5-years a non-ICE network will be airing original episodes of a Janit O'Day franchise series as SBC premieres the horror drama in a special 3-day event starting on Thursday then on its regular nights of Friday and Saturday. She looks to take the title away from Sheila Carter as the weekend's most fearful villain.
