NITRO's biggest weekly soap has become Sheila Carter as her evil sexy partner in crime Quinn Fuller has helped the show surpass 60 million viewers for the first time this season. (Sony Pictures Television) This is the 44th night of the 2013-14 Television season on Friday October 18, 2013.National Division - Major league broadcasting networks that are capable of currently reaching 73% of the world with working television sets. That percentage is expected to grow throughout the season as NITRO gets established in 20 more countries. These networks were apart of the original 8 networks back in the summer of 2009. These networks include ICE, SBC, and ROD. Federal Division - Netlet or minor league broadcasting networks that are only capable of currently reaching 51% of the world with working television sets. This division is home to most of the new networks and second networks of the National Division studios such as Pink (ICE) and TSN (SBC) and these networks are in their first year NITRO in the 2013-14 television season. These networks include PINK, TSN, and Uniworks. TEN might end up in this division but I have to realign the divisions by Monday and we'll know for sure by then. Rena Sofer (ROD Knockouts), Sheila Carter (Sony Pictures Television)FIRST PLACE FINISHES 2013-14 SEASON1. ICE (4) 2. ROD (1) 3. PDN (0) (4 in Federal) 4. TEN (0) (1 in Federal) 5. SBC (0) 6. TSN (0) 7. UNI (0) ROD OWNS FRIDAY NIGHTSIt hasn't been a pretty early start to the season for new studio leader CEO Ashley Greene but she has been able to give her network an opportunity to dominate Fridays this season owning SBC's TGIF block of hit comedies. As we've said before the difference between ROD and SBC on Fridays are the supporting pieces in the blocks that make the difference in the network averages to determine which network beats who. ROD has a way better all-around lineup while SBC has some really weak pieces around Full House, Step By Step, and Topanga who showed on Friday that they clearly need help in order to take down ROD now that ROD has given Full House and Step By Step some competition in that 9pm slot. SHEILA CARTER COULD BE NITRO'S FIRST NON-ICE PROGRAM TO REACH 70 MILLION VIEWERSOne of the top stories of the fall and maybe a big surprise has been the growth and dominance of ROD's live soap opera "Sheila Carter" which has become this generation's version of Dallas as that must see Friday night soap opera. Sheila Carter in that 10pm timeslot reached a new series-high in viewers grabbing almost 66 million viewers going way up from last week's 58 million. The show is clearly getting huge word of mouth and could be a huge contender at this year's Night of Champions awards ceremony in a few weeks and Soap Opera Awards later in the season. Sheila Carter is on track to be the first non-ICE regular program to reach 70 million viewers this season or jump into the most watched programs list as early as next week if it continues to grow. Sheila's partner in crime Quinn Fuller is just as popular as the Janit O'Day character for ICE when it comes to dramas as whatever she does in an episode is easily the night's most talked about item in any social media square going into Saturday mornings. Sheila Carter's ratings are definitely worth paying attention every week as it looks to get to 70 million viewers. Sheila Carter only has three weeks to hit this number as Night of Champions is likely to pop a huge number and set a new Federal Division record in November but Sheila Carter either way will still likely be the first regular program to hit that number since Night of Champions is a special telecast. WHO WILL GET TO 70 MILLION FIRST? FULL HOUSE OR SHEILA CARTER?There is a bitter battle going down between these two Friday heavyweights. If you were to ask anybody before this week started who reach 70 million first SBC or ROD, most people would've told you SBC since Full House has been on fast-track to get to 70 million but now that ROD has put a huge roadblock in front of it putting Reba's The Stella Sisters in front of Full House it could be Sheila Carter now. Ratings are expected to go up during these special episodes during November Sweeps so it can really go either way at this point but ROD is definitely favored at this point. Remember though ICE's Friday lineup will be getting some huge help with special airings of The Carpenters Hour the first couple of sweep Fridays of the season so that can bring these show's ratings down. ROD received their first win of the season. Now onto the ratings Sara Sampaio's variety hour continues to get red hot as starting next week Bella Thorne won't be in its way anymore as that show is going on hiatus and returning with specials to complete the fall season so Sara could be jumping into first place starting next week. One of NITRO's biggest scheduling moves of the season has to be The Stella Sisters and Somethin' Bad airing on Friday nights and taking down Full House and Step By Step who both went under 60 million viewers this week for the first time this month. The Stella Sisters has already proven that Wednesday's premiere ratings aren't a fluke as both shows maintained their premiere audiences from Wednesday night really well almost 100% for both. That helped Sheila Carter reach a series-high. With Sheila Carter getting bigger Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Undercover is bleeding a little bit but still keeping enough viewers to give Country Made the lead-in it needs in late nights. ICE BEATS SBC FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON ON A FRIDAYSBC made an improvement this week moving Single at Fifty over to Fridays after Miami's Friends in that 8pm hour but the two shows still aren't strong enough to give Full House the lead-ins it needs to dominate ROD. Topanga was the standout as it grew out of Step By Step but the problem for SBC was Sam's Town which bombed on them. They still haven't figured out a good 10:30pm half-hour program to put there. The late night programs are killing SBC's average right now as SBC actually lost to ICE which is starting to get for SBC because Jessica Lowndes has already stated that ICE are slowly going to be improving on Fridays heading into January so SBC is running out of time right now to hold ICE off. ICE had a good start from Bella Thorne but the game show hour has hurt ICE on Fridays but The Carpenters Hour comes in next week to help. The three soaps We've Got Each Other, Vancouver Models, and adult drama Uptown Murders have all quietly been rock solid for ICE on Fridays. The other networks would kill to get the ratings that ICE gets for their weakest night of the week. Over in the Federal Division, it was a really quiet night for the networks but we have another huge story of the season and that's ICE's successful attempt to create a high-rated sports league in WFL Football which dominated MLB playoff action over on TSN. This might've been one of the smartest ever created in NITRO history especially since its worked well for PDN all season so far for them. Although the baseball numbers have been more than disappointing this season TSN was still able to hold TEN to pickup another point. TEN took the night off as they went with the first two movies of the Scream franchise. Scream 2 in late night perked up to 15 million viewers which is a very good number. Nobody was watching Uniworks again. Tomorrow night the focus goes back towards ICE as they bring out their young female stars again this time down under in Sydney as ICE goes overseas for the first time this season, Diamond Girls returns in late night but before that Youth of Life airs its third episode of the season and it should be interesting to see where it settles in at especially since this episode will be taped instead of live. All of ICE's programming will be taped tomorrow earlier in the day due to the timezone difference. This is the first time this season that ICE's live programming will be in a taped format. SBC brings out their three dramas again and debuts a few shows in late night and ROD's late night schedule also is all-new as Super Crews will air at midnight. HAYDEN PANETTIERE MAKES HER TEN DEBUTTEN has a major event tomorrow as Vampire Life debuts at 8:00pm and we will finally see Hayden Panettiere make her debut as she taped the first episode earlier in the week. We'll see how the top 25 star affects the ratings as Vampire Life should be able to top the timeslot in the division as Battle of the Sexes airs on PDN and Max & Shawn's premiere airs on TSN. Also making their TEN debuts on Vampire Life are Tom Cruise, Elizabeth Olsen, the Amell boys, David Arquette, and huge free agent pickup Emma Watson. CEO Neve Campbell will be looking for Vampire Life to do at least more than 30 million viewers at 8pm.

I've been a big fan of Friday's ratings this season because they are really competitive compared to the other nights. Sheila Carter is turning into a bit of a monster for ROD and they made a good move putting the comedies on against Full House. SBC should look into spreading their hits out and having one of them lead-off the night.

Reba McEntire: Revenge is so sweet SBC left your asses and took your top show down. The Stella Sisters is now a hit.
