Madelaine "Maddie" Hasson (ICE Starlets)
Paramount Hall Toronto, OntarioDAYTIME SHOCKERTORONTO, ON - Folks this is the beauty of live television, you never know what can happen when that camera is on and people are seeing things as they happen instead of a predictable taped environment. In one of the shockers of the season we head to Paramount Hall which is a few blocks down the street from ICE's high school studio East York Secondary Academy during a live taping of Arielle Kebbel's hit talk show "The Noon Show" where we have Arielle Kebbel interviewing Youth of Life star Paris Jackson and out of nowhere a cool moment happens where Maddie Hasson shows up and shocks everybody to announce that she is the newest ICE Starlet. This was probably the biggest show crasher to happen on The Noon Show since 2010 when Lindsay Lohan was stabbed live on air by JWOWW which started the NITRO War between the studios which continues today. At the time Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was hosting the show and the show was only in its second week of coverage. Here's the catch though for the former Twisted star Maddie Hasson she was supposed to be in Texas on The Rosie O'Donnell Show and she was supposed to be interviewed around 12:10pm on that show and Rosie and the producers backstage noticed that Maddie wasn't there and her agent called one of the executives to let SBC know that Maddie had left SBC and was going to sign with ICE today. Next thing you know around 12:35pm when Paris Jackson was being interviewed that's when Maddie popped up. Paris Jackson was already getting a lot of attention for this interview to promote her acting debut on Youth of Life tonight so social media broke out in a frenzy and many people thought that Maddie was invading ICE's turf as people still had that Lindsay Lohan incident in their minds but that was not the case as Maddie was there just to announce that she was coming to ICE. She also said that Pairs Jackson knew about it and announced that Maddie would be guest starring on their second episode tonight as well which was the other surprise. The crowd of 27,000+ at Paramount Hall quickly chanted Maddie's name as the show went to commercial break. Maddie Hasson even dyed her hair from blonde to brunette to celebrate the move so she was unrecognizable when she first came out. SBC CEO Jennifer Aniston was furious over the move as she had no idea it happened and she's been mad at Jessica Lowndes all week as ICE also stole in free agency this past Monday G. Hannelius, Leo Howard, Taylor Spreitler, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale from them although Ashley told SBC already that she was leaving and so did G. Hannelius but SBC never wanted ICE to get her. Jessica Lowndes has really done some dirty moves this week as she also spoiled ROD's evening the night before. NITRO Commissioner Rachael Leigh Cook explained that ICE would've had Maddie on Monday but they were still in negotiations with her agent at the time so they couldn't get the deal done by then. ICE also picked up another 13-year old to go with their new draft pick Thylane Blondeau in Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber and veteran actress Elizabeth Henstridge. In NITRO you never know what the hell is going to happen you can lose any of your actors at any given time.

OTTAWA, ON - The main storyline of the week in NITRO continues to come off the heels of this past Monday's big draft and free agency decisions and how Jessica Lowndes has been looked as a dirty ass executive all week after she made an arrogant move to bring down ROD's huge night on Wednesday and also how she's been stealing actors away from the other studios especially SBC. We already told you about the most recent story of how Maddie Hasson made a snake move and avoided her duties to be interviewed on Rosie O'Donnell's talk show on Thursday afternoon and showing up in that same hour in Canada to announce that she had signed over to ICE.
Well folks it got real nasty after that as Jennifer Aniston, Ashley Greene, and Carrie Underwood had enough of her crap as this real-life daytime soap opera became a big story all day in NITRO blowing up social media.
Jennifer Aniston who was already scheduled to be a guest on Alexa Chung's struggling daytime talker got the biggest ratings for SBC Daytime in history grabbing 17 million viewers. As soon as The Noon Show went off on ICE many viewers changed the channel over to SBC to see her reaction and Jennifer Aniston really dug into Jessica Lowndes and Maddie Hasson calling them all sorts of names unprofessionally on live television. Alexa Chung said she was actually scared of her boss as she never seen Jennifer that mad and irate before.
ROD also pre-empted coverage of their hit soap Ain't No Mountain High Enough to extend The Midday Show. Carrie Underwood actually started out her show's opening monologue to call out ICE and Jessica Lowndes dirty move blaming them for not selling out Philips Arena the night before and not coming in first place in the ratings. Carrie Underwood wasn't done though when Maddie announced her decision ROD cut back over to her show as she had Ashley Greene come on and blast Jessica Lowndes calling her the most selfish bitch in all of NITRO but Ashley Greene didn't just talk about ICE she also took a shot at her new rival Neve Campbell and called her out for stealing Hayden Panettiere from them. ROD also got series-high ratings for The Midday Show getting 29 million viewers.
The midday part of the afternoon became a destination of live on-air beef rants. This is no doubt about it the most heated day of the season in the NITRO War so far as even Neve Campbell called out Jessica Lowndes and her snake moves as she had this to say on her Twitter, "Jessica Lowndes needs to get her act fixed up or the stars will drop."
We've yet to hear from Jessica Lowndes on any of this but many people backstage says Jessica has been laughing hard all day like an evil woman so she's obviously enjoying all of this.
The Noon Show received the highest weekday daytime ratings ever notching 38 million viewers for Arielle Kebbel's talker thanks to the surprise appearance. This is obviously great news for ICE and could be a historic day in NITRO history as Youth of Life is gaining great momentum for tonight to set a new ratings record for the premiere. ICE is live tonight so we might hear from Jessica and others then on what happened earlier today and the shots being fired at them. Also Amber Montana's popular afternoon showcase got a series-high in the ratings later in the afternoon getting 26 million viewers.

Youth of Life (Paramount Television)Thursday ended up being a huge day for The ICE Phederation whose two networks came in first place and second place for the first time this season as a Federal Division network holds second place overall for the first time this season with PDN coming in second place beating SBC and ROD both at the same time. ICE built a lot of momentum from earlier in the day when Jessica Lowndes revealed a surprising snake move on her daytime showcase program The Noon Show where former SBC actress Maddie Hasson revealed that she was becoming a ICE Starlet earlier today and that episode built up to 38 million viewers which made it the highest rated weekday daytime program of all-time and ICE wasn't done breaking records and setting new milestones as they notched another later in the night with Youth of Life breaking the record for the most watched program of all-time on NITRO a record that's been broke twice this season already when Battle of the Network Stars just broke it two weeks by passing up The Carpenters Hour Finale rating which was set way back in 2012. With NITRO's audience getting bigger and bigger you can expect this record to be broken again and again and maybe even surpass 100 million viewers at some point later this season. NO HAYDEN ON ALLY = NO PROBLEMICE had a huge night as they got series-highs for all of their scheduled shows with Teen Angels leading the way getting over 60 million viewers for the first time this season leading off at 8pm. The key for ICE's huge surge in the ratings on Thursdays all year keeping their must see TV moniker title has been their backbone anchors Teen Angels and Ally specifically Ally at 9pm which has consistently been over 60 million viewers all season and reached a series-high 73 million viewers on Thursday night helping its lead-out Bastard Kids also reach over 70 million viewers. Ally which is a self-titled comedy starring NITRO's top star Allison Shields and her blood sisters based loosely on her real-life experiences when she first broke into NITRO and helped get her sisters jobs. Hayden Panettiere who used to co-star on Ally had to leave the show because she was fired from ICE last Friday and has been replaced since then reportedly according to ICE sources by Vanessa Hudgens who came back to ICE earlier in the week so there was obviously some curiosity there and Strawberry Shields made a guest appearance on there as well and will make her official debut on the show next Thursday as a regular cast member. Ally has deifnitely be key for ICE on this night providing huge ratings for their comedy premieres on this night this season. Thursday was all about Youth of Life as the show captured a record-high 87.07 million viewers surpassing expectations as the show was expected to draw around 79 million viewers according to most predictors so that's 8 million more than it should've drawn. Youth of Life was loaded with star power and ICE added more star power by showing off a bunch of their new acquisitions on the show as either regulars or guest stars. Among those big debuts was the late Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson who is going to be a regular on the show and made her acting debut as there was interests all week as she was adding in huge ratings for her interviews this week promoting the show and their new big free agent acquisition G. Hannelius who is the same position and Bella Thorne also stars on the show and she's been a ratings monster this season. ICE really brought out the stars on Thursday as Jessica Lowndes closed out the night with her hit comedy Actors as all three of the top 3 actors in NITRO were on the night with Allison Shields, Tracy Kimmell, and Jessica Lowndes. None of the other networks could really even compete and the other networks also took a huge hit in the ratings as SBC and ROD got some of their lowest ratings of the season as stated before they got beat by a Federal Division network which is never a good thing for National networks. PDN's Fugitive at 17 was the only non-ICE program that reached over 40 million viewers and that was Fugitive at 17's network premiere but ICE has a dillemma there because the show is drawing so well it could end up on ICE and ICE transfers their weakest drama in place over to PDN as the network was in this position two weeks ago when Bella Thorne's variety show scored close to 50 million and they immediately put it back on ICE before it goes on hiatus after this week so that Bella could concentrate more on Youth of Life. Molly in South Philly and Actors had impressive retention holds after that huge premiere keeping the hour over 80 million instead of sinking below 70 million. ICE has clearly figured out how to keep their audiences intact as they haven't had many problems since Pat Devine started formatting their comedies live permanently in 2010. They keep their shows relatable to their lead-ins so there's not a lot of channel changing. Usually the trend is that the higher the rating the bigger the drops are for the lead-outs but for ICE they haven't had that problem. We'll have more analysis on the other networks when those ratings are released later. The dominance displayed here by ICE is shown here in the most watched program chart (October 12, 2009-October 17, 2013):
