Monday was all about those thrilling decisions made in the morning by the studios and their draft picks and free agents. NITRO Rookie Draft put in one of the highest ratings to-date for weekday daytime scoring 32.44 million as the special morning event was simulcast on every NITRO network.
ICE has dominated Mondays and this Monday was no different but ROD did give them some good competition as Carrie Underwood's talker put in 20 million.
SBC continues to struggle as they should look at their new acquisitions for help in daytime and the dangerous thing about SBC is that they have new competition now in TEN. As expected TEN would struggle out of the gate but the positive for them was the Variety Hour in the last hour of daytime doing well.

BIGGEST PREMIERE: This week marks the start of a whole network called TEN which will start its run in NITRO officially on Monday and we will also have all of our new faces in NITRO beginning their careers. On Thursday, we will have our biggest comedy premiere of the entire fall with the return of the #1 comedy "Youth of Life" during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. Youth of Life was prematurely cancelled back in the summer of 2012 due to the in coming change changes in the studio's department and Tracy Kimmell leaving the show but everything has been settled since then and now Michael Bradeson's Janit O'Day comedy returns. It's a huge week for the Janit O'Day franchise as two series kickoff this week with Youth of Life and Fugitive at 17 on Monday. Youth of Life was the reboot to the hit 80s sitcom The Facts of Life but the show was much different as it focused on the lives of problem children who were in a reform school outside of Philadelphia. The show will return with its main star Tracy Kimmell along with a cast of new faces including some of ICE's newest draft picks. Youth of Life returns for its relaunched premiere on Thursday night with two episodes at 10pm on ICE. MONDAY: ICE is live in Seattle on Monday taking their comedies on the road as Sabs and Bad Times join One Day at a Time and Angry Landlords on the new Monday lineup. The third Janit O'Day spin-off "Fugitive at 17" starring Greek Goddess Marie Avgeropoulos will premiere before making the move over to newly named sister network PDN on Thursday. Also on Monday features the debut of TEN which will throwout a new slate of new programming starting with Survival Island and then half-hours Melody's Life, Australia Down Under, and LateNights. TEN will start its run in the Federal Division against Uniworks, TSN and PDN. Joel Osmond throws a huge welcome party for the new SBC rookies and free agents on his variety show. TUESDAY: TEN's premiere week continues as they showcase "Paranoid" into the spotlight leading off as Brittany life spirals out of control and becomes paranoid about everything around her. Miranda Cosgrove makes her TEN debut on Teens and a new dance competition starts with "Go Dance!" ROD moves High School Dropouts starring Sara Sampaio and Justin Bieber to the lead off spot of their retro teen block. New Girls in Town Pageant comes to Seattle while American Juniors comes to New York and will make its SBC debut at 9pm. Somethin' Bad Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert ROD-TV (Channel 5) Wednesday October 16, 2013 8:30-9:00p WEDNESDAY: ROD has a huge night as they take center stage on Wednesday as they will unleash a new block of country style programming as the studio will be on the road live for the first time this season down in Atlanta starting with the new sitcom The Stella Sisters where Reba makes her ROD debut and the sitcom also stars heartthrob Hunter Hayes. After that will be the premiere of one of the most anticipated premieres of the season in Somethin' Bad starring Carrie Underwood at 8:30pm. ROD will treat the Atlanta viewers with new episodes of their two hit comedies Uncle Charlie & Jenny and Saved By the Bell: The Adult Years as both shows enter their new timeslots and a special live preview of the new Miss Roderick Pageant will close the night. ICE gives new hit variety sketch comedy Molly in South Philly a huge test try moving it away from compatible Tracy's 3 Girls as it gets a special live Wednesday airing after the new comedy Bad Times as ICE looks to take down the Wednesday comedies its in competition against. The debut of the new drama Whispers Edge premieres on SBC. TEN continues their premiere week with the premieres of Family Troubles and The Debby Show. Youth of Life Tracy Kimmell, Paris Jackson ICE-TV (Channel 7) Thursday October 17, 2013 10:00-11:00p THURSDAY: For the seventh week in a row ICE looks to live up to its billing as Must See TV as they bring in the huge premiere of Youth of Life which becomes the biggest comedy premiere of the season with an A-list cast of plenty of top 25 stars. Youth of Life is easily the most star-powered program in the history of NITRO as 7 of the top 25 stars in NITRO are in the show or featured in the premiere. The late Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson after a year long wait since ICE acquired her back in 2012 will finally make her official NITRO and acting debut on the show. Molly in South Philly follows the big premiere event with another special airing. FRIDAY: SBC and ROD battle for viewers in what should be another good Friday night battle between the two networks. SBC looks to strengthen up their anchor hour by putting the senior citizen's favorites Miami's Friends and Single at Fifty together to lead off in front of the blockbuster TGIF trio hits of Full House, Step By Step, and Topanga. They will all be opposed to by the timeslot premieres of The Stella Sisters and Somethin' Bad who will give SBC their first real comedy competition of the season so can they both bring down Full House and Step By Step's numbers in that 8 o'clock hour? Also rapidly growing soap hit Sheila Carter and Quinn look to knock off the premiere of Sam's Town. A lot of people think Sheila Carter is well on its way to becoming the next Dallas. ROD usually pulls away from there with Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Undercover and Country Made. Over at TEN the second episode of Melody's Life airs and the network premieres of Scream and Scream 2. SATURDAY: ICE travels down under to the southern hemisphere for the first time this season as they head to Sydney, Australia to tape their young Paramount Pretty Comedies as Jaime leads off and Youth of Life airs a special episode after Tracy's 3 Girls. Diamond Girls returns for the first time in two weeks in late night. ROD juggles up their late night schedule to avoid Diamonds Girls competition by moving Gillian & Joannie's variety hour to 2am after Super Crews which moves to its new timeslot after struggling in primetime this season. SBC competes with ROD for the adult viewers by bringing in a new porn hour in that 3am battle. SBC earlier in the night will ditch their struggling comedies that are getting beaten to death by ICE in favor of dramas Tough Chick, Seattle Mysteries, and Growing Pains which should counter-program the other networks going with live programming. TEN goes with Teens and Survival Island. SUNDAY: Peyton Manning returns to Indianapolis for the first time since signing with the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football over on SBC. The Carpenters Hour gets close to wrapping up their audition stage by giving their viewers an inside peek of their callbacks week taking place this week while they find talent down in Australia. ROD's hit daytime drama Sunset Beach get a special primetime episode after their two drama hits Eight Is Enough and Australian Nights. TEN wraps up their primetime week over in the Federal Division with an Ebola Special and over on TSN premieres new comedy Friends Forever and airs their first NHL broadcast of the season when the Dallas Stars head to Anaheim to face the Ducks at the Pond. NEXT WEEK (OCTOBER 21-27, 2013): The first sweeps period of the season kicks off on Thursday with November Sweeps so this time of year when we see many special events to drive up the ratings a.k.a. money. ICE's new annual Halloween event Scary ICE will launch that same night. The World Series starts on Tuesday over on TSN and on SBC this Wednesday. Tahj Mowry and pornstar Malena Morgan host the third sex special of the season from Boston and the first to feature a male and a female hosting at the same time. The Carpenters Hour, Juniors, and New Girls in Town Pageant wrap-up their audition process. FUTURE NOTABLE PREMIERE (OCTOBER 28, 2013): Help solve the 33-year old mystery soap opera event "Who Wanted Nichole Dead?" which premieres on Monday October 28, 2013 during Scary ICE.
