Daniela Bobadilla, Team ICE (PINK Television Network) (ICE's Wide World of Sports) FIRST PLACE FINISHES 2013-14 SEASON1. ICE (18) 2. ROD (3) 3. SBC (1) 4. PINK (0) 5. TSN (0) For the first time this season a Federal Division network (not including ROD which is in the National Division now) had won a timeslot first overall. Pink put up not only an all-time network high but also record viewership for the Federal Division. No program in the division had ever posted more than 40 million viewers until Team ICE which is already a huge hit in daytime beat everything in the hour and even beat big sister ICE. As we get closer to Battle of the Network Stars viewers are getting ready watching their favorite studios practice for the first event of the season as ROD later in the night saw 48 million viewers for their practice session. Unfortunately for Pink the rest of the night didn't do well for them. SBC's Wednesday block fell off from the week before with some major holes in the lineup and the block probably failed due to their unhealthy daytime lineup. Tough Chick actually stayed over 40 million viewers against Dangerous Bitch. ICE just won't let SBC breathe with their bad girls shows. Facebook is probably done after tonight. Chicago's Most Dangerous Bitch succeeded probably better than most would've thought getting over 60 million viewers and becoming the first Wednesday program to score that many viewers this season. The interesting thing about Wednesday nights this season is the fact that the night is wide open but ICE has closed the gap adding Dangerous Bitch behind Kelly's Thugs so now they have two of their three hours figured out. The network just moved Bradleys vs. Van Horns to their daytime division to take the pressure off the series so now they have a huge hole there at 8pm. We thought originally last week that SBC may have figured out Wednesdays by adding in a two-hour comedy block last week that did well but it didn't hold up well at all. ROD doesn't really have a permanent lineup yet after Star Girl so this night is unfinished. It could be a revolving door most of the first half of the season for all three networks. With Dangerous Bitch moving to 10pm that affected Tough Chick but now Touch Chick will really need to hold the audience it has now. If the network can find a strong enough lead-in then Tough Chick won't have to worry about getting killed by Jessica Lowndes' new hit drama. Back to the Federal Division, Pink will likely do away with Get Kristie Love! and keep a closer eye on Antonella's Anxiety. For TSN, they haven't had as much luck of finding anything outside of sports to work on their network so far and The Sing War still is a weak performer but getting 11-12 million viewers on TSN is pretty decent at this point. The real highlight for them is CSI: Los Angeles which almost got 20 million viewers after it struggled earlier in the year on SBC. CSI: Los Angeles gives TSN a timeslot that they won't have to worry about. Must See TV Thursdays are back on ICE and DJ Becky makes her debut tomorrow night.

Carrie Underwood arrives for her first day as host of The Noon Show (Sony Pictures Television) For the first time in daytime history there is a real chance for a program on another network to defeat The Noon Show and can The Midday Show do it on Thursday with their new host Carrie Underwood? Carrie Underwood has already helped save ROD in some areas this season with the arrival of several country superstars to the roster and some hit programs like Country Made, Hunter & Kacey, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Undercover, and now what could be a revival of The Noon Show. With Jennifer Nettles hosting the show to its biggest all-time numbers the first three days of the week many should feel Carrie who is a way bigger star in NITRO to be able to have The Midday Show finally compete with The Noon Show. Since Arielle Kebbel became host on Monday for ICE The Noon Show has seen some of its highest numbers as well and has not been under 15 million viewers just yet so things will be interesting not only in this match-up on Thursday but in the coming days as well once both shows really start to settle in. Both networks still need better lead-ins but at least for The Midday Show the fact that it will not go head-to-head with The Noon Show in both half-hour timeslots that should help The Midday Show get a jump on The Noon Show. So let's see how this plays out on Thursday.
