ICE and ROD have started to separate themselves away from SBC as SBC is having some serious problems in daytime right now.
With ICE and ROD restructuring their daytime lineups that has helped boost both networks audiences into getting more and more people to watch daytime programming this week.
Problem of concern #1 for SBC is the morning battle it looks like Sara Gilbert is already lost in the shuffle in that battle against Sarah & Drew AM and Hunter & Kacey which both went up on Tuesday. The change here is that during the first two weeks of the season ROD was not competitive in that slot and now they are and Sarah & Drew are putting in much higher numbers than AM North America was putting up thanks to the new format and hosting change to the show.
Speaking of hosting changes man is Arielle Kebbel off to a great start for The Noon Show staying close to 20 million viewers and Jennifer Nettles is a substitute host but so far she has posted The Midday Show's two best numbers ever so this is a good sign for when Carrie Underwood comes in on Thursday and giving Jennifer Nettles her own show in the future. The firing of Cher Lloyd was worth it.
In the soap area ICE and ROD are really battling it out right now as the soaps are putting in much healthier numbers as Sunset Beach has become a monster for ROD at 6pm and ICE's Apartment 1303 is off to a great start growing out of Love in the Afternoon Live by 1.5 million viewers.
Has Mario Idol lost some star power this season? He got crushed by his rivals Justin Bieber and Romeo Miller and ICE's The Swimming Diaries thanks to their lead-in crushed Mario.
Tomorrow's numbers should be interesting to see if anything changes.

Success in daytime usually helps lead to bigger success in prime time and that's something that ICE and ROD totally understand right now which is why they made huge changes to adapt to the climate of today's daytime scene and competition. The purpose of daytime programming is to get those last set of viewers to watch their programming in prime time. By promoting to 10-20 million viewers you can get a percentage out of that to watch your programming at night.
SBC has no structure and no boss leading an actual daytime division. ICE and ROD have a daytime division in their executive staffs as ROD just fired their boss last week to get their daytime division back on track and that decision clearly worked for Ashley Greene this week so far as ROD is up double-to-triple digits in their ratings week-to-week.
In order for SBC not to lose any remaining audiences in prime time to ICE and ROD they need a complete overhaul in their daytime division and hire someone to oversee their division and put on more original programming, reruns are killing them too. Almost half of their daytime slots are repeating programming. It may take them longer than ROD did because now ICE and ROD have started to establish audience in these slots but ICE and ROD still have a weaknesses that can be exploited in their daytime lineups if SBC can capitalize then they can get some going there.
