Synopsis:
Aaron Miles introduces himself as a high school drop-out, who works at the "Coffee House". The Coffee House is catered to the rich and blue blood customers, and is managed by a very rich CEO of many Coffee Houses. When the store manager, Solomon Bills, notices the loss in money, he figures someone is stealing. At first Jude Williams, Aaron's friend and fellow employee, accuses him of doing it. However, much to their surprise, the owners daughter, Calli Lawrence, is caught in the act. She was stealing because her father wouldn't pay for her trip to Paris. As a consequence, she is forced to work at the Coffee House until she can pay off her debt. Calli and Aaron do not get along and often argue, even though he is forced to keep an eye on her. As Calli works, she comes face to face with her sworn high school enemy, Mackenzie, and her flying monkey, Kelly Jenkins. Mackenzie, belittles her and laughs at her need to work, supposedly just like her mother. Later, Calli meets a fellow, part-time worker, Elise Myer, and also Aaron's crush. Not only does Elise Myer work at the Coffee House, but also takes care of Aaron and his little sister, Amy Miles. Calli also meets Timothy Smarts, her highschool crush, who didn't even know she existed. At the end of the day, Aaron goes home to find Amy waiting for him, to which he asks for an apology. Happily, they eat the food Elise left for them. That is until, Amy tells Aaron she wrote her parents another letter and questions when they'll be coming back. Unknown to her, is that her parents are never coming back.
