Daniela Bobadilla (left, ICE Starlet) Charlie Sheen (right, ROD), Uncle Charlie & Jenny (Warner Bros. Television Distribution)ICE won 5 out of the first 6 nights of the season. The first week of the season stretches out until September 15th so SBC still has time to catch up here. The night was surrounded around The Carpenters Hour which hit Buffalo on Sunday but the story of the night was the impressive performances from QBC's The Village and Orion which both contributed to the highest rated series of the night and for the QBC produced shows this season. The Village put up some huge numbers against Bradleys vs. Van Horns which had a stronger showing on Sunday than it did on Friday so expect ICE to keep the dramaedy there permanently. The Village was also QBC's most watched comedy so this is definitely a show QBC can build around. Danny did okay out of The Village also but it showed vulnerability also which is not good going forward but for now good starts for both comedies. Orion really showed toughness against The Hour and held its own in that 8pm hour pretty much succeeding the task but the question now is could Orion had done better had it not had to go against The Hour? If that is the case SBC may move it but the problem you have to is that you might not be able to find something as strong as Orion to go against The Hour every week so it's a tough decision. The 9:00 PM hour was an easy predictable hour as Uncle Charlie & Jenny having that Hour lead-in they had a huge advantage there with the big premiere Charlie Sheen premiere of his new comedy pretty much defeating Bad Girls Revenge which actually covered two of ROD's most popular actors and that decision prevented a lot of bleeding there as Bad Girls Revenge still got a solid number. The real separation started and ultimately decided the night was The Interview which premiered DOA against a very strong surprising performance from Overnight Nurses which scored over 21 million viewers which has to be thrilling news for ICE to know they have a hit player in the soap opera genre. Not sure where this show will be scheduled but Fridays and Sundays are the likely options. Tomorrow night SBC is running The Sing War out there against The Carpenters Hour and the new talent competition New Girls in Town Pageant. Should be an interesting night tomorrow no doubt.

We here at QBC are ecstatic at how well the three shows did against very hard opposition. Orion and The Village are two great shows that have lots of promise, and we are over the moon at how well they did. Danny is another solid show, that has a lot of potential to grow, and we hope that this timeslot will allow it to blossom into a major show for the network.
