Jon (Jethro Grantham)'s girlfriend recently broke up with him and he recently moved into Vinny (Zac Efron)'s house. He realizes that it's hard to move on after a good relationship. Roman (David Gallagher) is the advice giving womanizer who can't seem to stay with a woman. Kelly (Madylin Sweetin)'s relationship with Vinny is going downhill and she tries to pick it back up. On the other hand, Vinny is unintentionally making their relationship worse. Peter (Nat Wolff) is the everyday nerd who can't seem to find a place in the world, so he's accepted by Vinny and the gang. Steph (Danielle Fishel) is the smart girl obsessed with being perfect. Vinny's single dad (George Lopez) can't seem to find another partner after his Vinny's mom (Constance Marie) ran away. And Vinny's younger brother Ben (Alex Wolff) tries awkwardly to adjust to puberty.
