ICE: 8.54 million
ROD: 7.29 million
UNO: 7.21 million
SBC: 6.60 million
UNO: Repeats get a bit worse ratings than the movie yesterday. 3pm and 4pm slots get average 7 million. THE FAMILY TREE continues with excellent result as the most watched soap, although followed by DAYS OF OUR LIVES with only a bit less viewers.
SBC: THE KIDS SHOW improves the 11pm slot. FIRST NEWS falls greatly. It is caused probably by the hard time slot. With only ROD competing yesterday, it was easier, but now, also TWIN CITIES aired at noon. Competition got really tough, and unfortunatelly SBC lost it. On the other hand, Universal cinema was a great choice for SBC!
ICE: Changed schedule brought nothing special to ICE. TWIN CITIES did great even at 12.00am. Only the three soaps had a bit less viewers than yesterday, but the difference was very small. The only dark point of the ICE schedule is the BLUE COLLAR, that continues to fall down to 5 million viewers. Foxes had average result.
ROD: THE YOUNG AND RESTLESS solid, winning the 11pm timeslot. It seems like DAYS OF OUR LIVES and GUIDING LIGHT are doing a lot better, than the rest of the soaps. Maybe there is too many soaps in a row, and something else between them would help to boost the ratings of AS THE WORLD TURNS... The game shows had it really hard, the competition was tough with the strongest soap and Opening day coverage. But the result was still great.
The opening night: All the networks prepared an opening night coverage. The winner of it was ICE, that started an hour earlier and got a great result. THE FAMILY TREE helped UNO to end up second, and on the 3rd place ended up SBC thanks to great hosts.
