ROD: 7.24 million ICE: 7.20 million UNO: 6.31 million SBC: 4.28 million All our TVs except for SBC started very well. SBC decided to air shows for kids, which dont seem to be working very well. The new episodes of them had quite good results, but the repeats were a huge flop. Most of the premiere soaps had more than 7 millions, which is a very good result. The most successful premieres were: THE FAMILY TREE, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, AS THE WORLD TURNS and THERE IS NO TOMORROW. ROD aired two game shows, that seem be doing very well, even better than sport on ICE, that unexpectedly achieved only 5 millions. Maybe it will do better next time. The viewers were curious, so the premieres of almost all the soaps were successful. But dont expect that. It is very likely, that only the strongest soaps with the best actors and plots will survive...

Kevin Smart (President): We started out very well today almost at the top with ROD. All My Children provided great lead-in support for There's Always Tomorrow and Blue Collar held up well. Twin Cities and York did very well of holding the huge soap lead-ins. The After School special Foxes has proven that this program is going to do well for us. We're not too concerned with ICE Wide World of Sports as that will be moving to late night soon.
