NITRO VIEWERS STILL CHOOSE ICE AS THEIR MAIN TELEVISION DESTINATIONFor the second time in 3 years, ICE has earned their title as NITRO's Most Watched Network and they appear to just be getting started. ICE last won the title in June 2010 which was the only other time that it was awarded to any NITRO networks. This was the first title that was named since the reboot back in February 2012.
ICE obviously has the experience and knowledge on how to gather the most NITRO viewers and their strong area this season was their comedies which all had something in common they were live sitcoms which featured their ICE Starlets in the lead roles. It was rather amazing how ICE figured this trick out, they knew their audience better than any other network and took advantage of that and ran with it. Their shows shared the same audience and they were able to grow new viewers per show in each lineup.
If you were to ask the same question back on February 6, 2012 when the NITRO reboot started if Sabs would be your most watched comedy and Actors as your second most watched comedy outlasting Toronto's Friends you would've been called crazy. Well if you predicted that congratulations b/c Sabs is now NITRO's top comedy. Sabs came out of nowhere and started to slowly grab the most viewers out of any NITRO show. Sabs was well-protected in its timeslots as it had huge lead-ins from Actors and Tracy's 3 Girls and did its job of stopping the bleeding and growing.
ICE was able to blow away the competitors all year long and on the night it counted they kept up their undefeated streak in the postseason and dominated ROD and UNO holding them off to 2nd and 3rd place finishes respectively.
Again congratulations to ICE on becoming NITRO's most watched network now we've got to hear those annoying Starlets sing their victory song.
ROD & UNO PUT UP A GOOD FIGHT AND MADE IT AS THE TOP 3 NETWORKSAs for ROD and UNO they put up a pretty good damn fight and they have nothing to be down about. This night was more for ROD protecting their 2nd place slot in the top 3 as UNO has been hot on their tail but ROD's strong lineup of season finales was able to hold them off. What made the difference on this night was how low the weakest program scored in the ratings. Both networks did a great job of putting their best programs to compete for 2nd place but ROD was able to survive an embarrassment. UNO's run this season was very historic as the network had only been in existence for two whole months and had already knocked out veteran networks like SBC and DV to place themselves into the top 3 in their very first season. Both ROD and UNO now know what they have to do to fight for 1st place next season and follow ICE's strategies to get there.
