THURSDAY JUNE 14, 2012ICE is getting some nice results out of their Summer Athletic Games Time Trials which helped give the Paramount Pretty comedies their best Thursday numbers of the season so far as their only two weeks away from wrapping up their first seasons.

ICE and ROD are both only a coupe of nights away from wrapping up their first round playoff series against EBC and MRA respectively.
ROD is on a role on Thursdays right now thanks to George Lopez and Charlie Sheen's two produced comedies Men Having Fun and Hot Girls. Super Crews has seen a boom lately as they conclude their first season next Thursday to announce the first ever winning dance group on the show. Pill Popper Jane is exploding as it has now become ROD's top series right now. ICE should've kept Pill Popper Jane for themselves.
SBC continues to dominate with the NBA Finals but they can't beat ICE despite having a high-rated sports event but the good news is their up on TCC in their playoff series 3-1. There's a possibility that they can wrap that series up this Sunday.
DV started out slow this week b/c of the blackout but the post-BOTNS exposure for Demi & Ariana and Street Fighters has no doubt helped those two programs out big time as Demi & Ariana grew 8 million viewers off of its lead-in. That's the biggest growth in franchise history.
MUSIC, PAPER, & LYRICS A VICTIM OF THE CARPENTERS HOUR?Singing competitions have shown fatigue this week as only the dance competitions have succeeded with Dance Night and Super Crews. Wisdom and Power, Top Talent, Music, Paper, & Lyrics, and Streets of Atlanta have all faltered in the ratings lately. Some analysts have stated that The Hour's growing success on Sundays has worn out viewers who get their fixes through these shows earlier in the season. The Hour has become a monster lately and its been hard for the other networks to get any exposure for their talent shows.
MRA knows coming into next season they can lead their block off with The New Charlie's Angels and that their new top series which is a rare NITRO Sci-Fi hit in The Six Billion Dollar Women can anchor a night but what that they know is if they can trust bringing back the flop that is WICKED. MRA could've gotten back into their playoff series against ROD but WICKED ruined it for them. WICKED might be the season's biggest flop? There might be another one that aired tonight. Good news is that the 80s soap classic Knots Landing returns tomorrow night on MRA.
First lets talk about TCC real quick as I'm Sane and The Willows have kicked ass all season long but thank god for them The Comedian is finally done with their season. That loser of a series won't be bringing TCC's average down for the time being. TCC trails SBC in their series 3-1.
ADAMS FAMILY A BIGGER FLOP THAN WICKED?NITRO viewers will watch any kind of show including classic remakes/reboots/continuations but we've noticed that NITRO viewers all over the world have grown accustomed to certain types of programming and their just not getting into some of the fantasy offerings that the networks have been bringing to them this season.
Adams Family looked solid after hockey but we all knew it bled too much too so that was an early sign that the show could go either way in its new timeslot and it went the wrong way. UNO is definitely using the summer to test programs and they got their answers tonight on their comedies as they all struggled against their main competition the live Paramount Pretty comedies. Really bombing out was New Line Television's Chestnut Family which might've been too left field and too rural for folks to get into. UNO did have good news though as the series premiere of Sony's The Boondocks didn't struggle and grew off of its lead-in by 5 million viewers in the 10pm timeslot. This was one that a lot studios overlooked and they probably wished they had it now. What the Fuck was the only UNO series with real star power in it and it did solidly, UNO should onto that one as they can continue to promote to the Japanese market.
UNO might have better luck over the weekend when James Bond comes to the small screen in the television adaption From Russia with Love and the big one Baywatch this Sunday.
This struggle from UNO opened the door to DV tying the series 2-2. This is the only playoff series that remains close or tied. The series will definitely continue into next week on Monday.
