Battle of the Network Stars (ICE's Wide World of Sports)
Just like TCC did last month DV was able to benefit off of airing the second BOTNS special of the season. There's no doubt about it everybody and their mama watches BOTNS when its on but there's still millions of viewers who watch the other network offerings. BOTNS days are no doubt the biggest television days of the month except in June and September as every network gets a chance to benefit off of the long 10-12 hour day of programming.
What drives BOTNS is no doubt this NITRO War as it gives viewers and fans alike to see their favorite actors competing against each other sometimes violently on an athltic level like in the Olympics or Athletic Games.
DV got the rights to host this event since BOTNS was being hosted in New York which is their home location right now. DV did a very good job giving the new and improved Demi & Ariana Variety Show a huge boost and also Street Fighters soon after.
With BOTNS getting these gigantic numbers like the Super Bowl does you might start seeing networks getting more creative with what they air behind BOTNS.
There wasn't a whole lot to talk about on the other networks but it still amazes people how ICE does in the ratings as their Paramount Pretty comedies are ratings proof as the audience they normally have in prime time carried over very well for them in late night.
ROD had a huge night as well thanks to their sex program starring Nina Agdal as the second episode passed the first episode in the ratings despite the late night slot.
UNO continues to be very consistent in the ratings with their Bloody Night branded lineup with shows like The Widow and The Bloody Mary.
A huge concern of note comes out of Denver with MRA's WICKED which is looking more and more like a huge flop with every airing but the good news is The Six Billion Dollar Woman held on really well despite going against BOTNS.
