WEDNESDAY MAY 30, 2012
Wednesday was more competitive than usual as every network averaged over 10 million viewers and the viewership was really spread out on this Wednesday with UNO leading the way to a rare first place victory thanks to the NHL's first game of the Stanley Cup Finals.
In series premiere news we had the high-profile debuts of WICKED, Growing Pains, and Dead or Alive. MRA's WICKED came out as the strongest with its much hyped up premiere as the drama featured the studio debut of ex-ICE Starlet Katherine McPhee. WICKED premiered really strong as MRA has now had back-to-back successful debuts with Criminal X the night before lets see if MRA can complete the trifecta tomorrow when the huge debut of Sony's pilot Six Billion Dollar Women debuts.
Growing Pains had a pretty good damn debut as it had less viewers than Mario Idol's variety show last week but it still premiered pretty strong beating a number of programs in that hour.
Dead or Alive had an iffy premiere probably a bit of a let down for ROD and Buena Vista (TCC) as Dead or Alive had a stronger number for its TV movie back on Sunday. The number itself is still pretty solid as it was over 10 million viewers and it gotten comparable numbers to Star Girl in that same timeslot. ROD has had a difficult time in that timeslot this season getting anything to launch over 15 million viewers.
The first live show of Music, Paper, & Lyrics did pretty good but didn't increase like it should've since this was a performance show and the first of the season. DV's music lineup has kind of crashed here the last couple of weeks as ICE was able to step ahead of the lineup for the first time since April and DV also lost its hold on a first place finish on this night with UNO passing them up.

Kevin Smart (President): Seattle Mysteries and Tammy Angel are really going to help these other networks out after we sell them. I like how Kelly's Thugs even on a tough night wasn't phased at all with its huge numbers.
AnnaLynne McCord: My show is so damn good!
Jordana Brewster: I'm not sure rather or not I'm still going to play Tammy Angel next season.
