Monday May 21, 2012Actors (Paramount Television)ACTORS CLEARS 26 MILLION VIEWERS
ACTORS SURPASSES TORONTO'S FRIENDS AS NEW #1 NITRO COMEDY THIS SEASONIt's been a three network race these last few weeks of the season on Mondays between ICE, DV, and ROD but ICE has started to put a lot of distance between themselves and the competition now that their some of their comedies are starting to really take off right now. Actors has already surpassed Toronto's Friends which is amazing. The Paramount Pretty comedies visited the Madhouse on Madison at the United Center in Chicago for the first time this season in front of a more than usual rowdy crowd and it made for great television on Monday night. Penn Badgley warned viewers watching the comedies on television that the Chicago crowd was going to be a lot more interesting than their past live tapings. ICE is just providing an experience that no other network in NITRO can give at least until the summer or during the fall with these live comedies. ROD actually announced behind the scenes that their going to start taking their comedy block on the road in a week or two to provide that type of live experience for their comedies. DV had another amazing Monday, their lineup gets overshadowed by the ICE whores success all the time but their Monday lineup has been strong since Week 1 as they started out as the major contender to MRA's lineup on Mondays with Top Talent. Break Point and Killer Night have been posting some amazing numbers as the top alternative in NITRO right now. NITRO War Update has been doing really well for SBC on a tough night all season long as its given support to Scotty McCreery and SBC Stars After Dark to give SBC another fourth place Monday finish. UNO's The Deception Point is turning into the real deal for them as they should start changing their Monday night lineup next week and give some of their promising pilots a chance to take advantage of that amazing lead-in. MRA is starting to get back in shape again but it might be too late for Top Talent to take over the night again all of those weeks they lost out on has caught back up to them as Top Talent is no longer go to television for the majority of the viewers but we'll see how Top Talent does when it returns next season. It's time to get concerned at TCC as their lineup outside of Worst Boyfriend Ever has failed on them, they got to do something to get people to support TCC on Mondays which is probably one of the top 3 toughest nights to program every week. Jail Time has always had a bad lead-in but the show hasn't done much for them to keep it around after this season but we'll have to see what they do. TCC should definitely copy ICE and ROD and take the live approach with their comedies and take them on the road to provide that experience for their fans. TCC got the rights to Sounders and this might be the night to install a comedy block around Sounders since the other comedy lineup skew to teens and adults. EBC is another network that has to completely redo their whole Monday lineup as none of these shows should be coming but maybe Sports Weekly can work on their syndication network. TCC and EBC should definitely grab as many pilots as possible and start plugging them into their lineup in June when the Playoffs start.

Pat Devine (CEO): The on going debate about live comedies vs. traditional taped comedies is starting to become pointless now in days as our numbers are proving that NITRO viewers aren't going to be watching taped comedies anymore the more and more time goes on. The decision to air our comedies live and take them on the road using the Saturday Night Live improv format has been the single best decision I've made since I've been in charge of the ICE Phederation. Once we taped our comedies live we were able to get get rid of the taped atmosphere and spoiler element. Viewers read spoilers all the time and avoid watching the episodes but now we force them to watch the episodes live and that has been a huge plus for us as it shows up in the ratings where the competition barely gets over 10 million viewers with their comedies. The TCC comedies prove that their taped comedies can't compete against our live comedies and that's a fact. The ability to take our shows on the road to cities like Chicago at large arenas in front of more than 20,000 people is huge.
Penn Badgley: The Chicago crowd was awesome and rowdy, this was the best crowd we acted in front of all season long as they got really loud during my moments with Lily Collins.
Lily Collins: When the crowd started roaring when me and Penn came on the air I was amazed at how loud they got for our kiss. We're the single best on-screen couple in all of NITRO right now.
Shailene Woodley: Chicago had an amazing crowd they were loud the entire night and as they gave me a standing ovation when I got introduced.
Lucy Hale: It was really funny when the crowd chanted, "HAIRY THE WHORE! HAIRY THE WHORE! HAIRY THE WHORE!"
Molly Ephraim: I can't wait to act in front of these fans on Saturday at the AllState Arena hopefully its as loud as the United Center was. We definitely got to comeback here soon. You won't get this kind of an atmosphere with SBC, those people sleep during tapings and they can't afford to go to different arenas across the world.
Jessica Lowndes: It felt very good to own UNO on their own home turf and take over.
Michael B. Jordan: Good job guys as the chants all night against the other studios were funny, they let Natty really have it when they chanted towards TCC's Cynthia, "O'DAY OWNS YOU! O'DAY OWNS YOU! O'DAY OWNS YOU!"

Scott Baio (President): We're taking our comedies on the road starting a couple of weeks from now in Dallas. We want our comedies to have this same experience for our fans.
Luke Grimes: Penn you make me so fucking sick bro you and that fucking trader Frankie Beckham.

Nina Agdal: Shut the fuck up Lily you are so fucking pathetic. Everybody knows you're a rape victim and Felicity's bitch so stop acting like everything is cool.
Eve Torres: Just Eve is doing really right now for us.
Christy Hemme: Jessica Lowndes you can shut the fuck up I know that right now.
Eric Balfour: Michael you're gay dude!
