NITRO Blog WTMT (Way Too Much TV) has today announced their predictions on UNO shows about their renewal or cancellation. Writer of the article Dan Patti talks about the rating System.
"We basically ranked each show based on publicity, Ratings and Network Support to give it a ranking out of 10. Shows on the higher end of the spectrum are almost shoe-ins to be renewed for a second season, while shows below 4 are likely to be cancelled. Shows between 4.1 and 6 are On The Bubble and could go either way."
Amerigo Vespucci (5) - Had an average premiere on Monday, still way too early to tell on this one.
Be My Guest (4.8) - Despite being one of the network's leadoff shows, it struggled to pull in ratings and is likely to not be back next Fall.
Down The Well (7.8) - Pulls great ratings on a difficult night. Should be a certainty for Season 2.
Future Wives Wanted (4.2) - Did ok in its only showing so far this season.
Great News! (4.3) - Slightly better the FWW, but not renewal material.
Hockey News UNO Special (2) - A Forced Cancellation due to UNO's Rights for the NHL ending.
Radio Flash (4.5) - Loses a bit from its Wisdom and Power Lead in. Needs better number to come back for Season 2.
Stella and Kevin - Love at First Sight (5.6) - Not pulling good enough to be renewed, not pulling bad enough to be canned. A Toss Up.
Take Me to the Light (9.1) - Pulls Great Ratings and is a shoein for a second season.
Television. Animated! (2.3) - Pulled after a few bad runs, this animated comedy will soon be erased.
The Bloody Mary (7.8) - Gets good ratings and a boost from The Widow. Expect to return next Fall.
The Chess Battle (3.9) - Pulled after a poor premiere, this show might be a good Summer Boom.
The Cooking Challenge (2.5) - Poor Ratings result in time being up for this Cooking Show.
The Crazy Bet (4.7) - Pulls ok numbers, but is it good enough for a Second Season?
The Deception Point (5.9) - Pulled Great numbers of its premiere, but too early to tell for this one.
The Favourite Teacher (4) - The weakest show on its night, UNO might be tempted to pull it in favour of a new sitcom.
The Jungle (4.4) - Known as a massive flop upon airing, this Joel McHale led show might have its last swing.
The Life Of A Pornstar (8.9) - Sex Sells, and this booming show proves it. Expect the Valley to return next fall.
The Night Full Of Music (6.4) - Does ok, but a new slot might be a better fit for this show.
The New Me (4.6) - The Second best show on its premiere night for UNO. Has enough potential to warrant a second season, but the ratings say otherwise.
The Widow (6) - The Flagship show of UNO, but the ratings might not be enough to get this over the line.
Wisdom And Power (5.8) - Does alright in a hard slot, but might need to move to see the full potential.
Written In The Runes (4.6) - Pulled average ratings in its premiere, and hasnt been back on since. A likely cancellation but could go either way.
You Know It! (4.9) - The worst new show on a Hard Saturday night for UNO, but could go either way at the moment.
Tomorrow MRA will get the WTMT spotlight.
