Pill Popper Jane finds its Jane
Sony has officially picked up the rights to Paramount's pilot Pill Popper Jane from DreamWorks. Pill Popper Jane will begin airing on ROD on Thursday, May 17 at 10p behind Super Crews which was previously the timeslot of Agent Lily which had been kicking ass there for a month now but Agent Lily will now be moving to Wednesdays. Pill Popper Jane casts four main stars to the pilot as Elizabeth Gillies who was recently picked up in a major trade from DV will play the role of Jane and joining her will be veteran actress Scarlett Johansson, Rooney Mara from Agent Lily, and Eric Balfour. The series is going be created by Dr. Dre and Eminem. This is the first time since the two executives have joined the studio that they'll be working on a project together.
ROD Demotes George Lopez to Comedy Coordinator
Eminem (CEO): We have made the proper decision here to enter in Mark Wahlberg as the Senior Vice President of our studio and we have demoted George Lopez to comedies an area that he is very intelligent in to raise his confidence back up about being a NITRO official. He will still work very close with Scott Baio even in his new position.
Mark Wahlberg (Sr. VP): I am very excited for this opportunity to be able to work under Scott Baio who is a goddamn genius.
George Lopez (Comedy Coordinator): I am very comfortable with my new position as a comedy developer as ROD is putting their faith in me to run the comedy division which is huge. The reflection of our comedies is on me and my first two pilots are Men Having Fun and Hot Girls and I hope they do very well.
Men Having Fun & Hot Girls replaces Diff'rent Strokes & Gimme a Break!
ROD had has its struggles all season with comedies even ones with a brand name to it like Diff'rent Strokes and Gimme a Break! but ROD has officially ordered to replacements to series in Men Having Fun and Hot Girls. Both comedies will be taped live starting on Thursday May 17 at 8p. New comedy coordinator George Lopez said that both new comedies will be used as vehicles for their new actors. Men Having Fun will have Charlie Sheen and Marcel Gotch leading it and for Hot Girls it will be Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Stroup.

ICE will likely sell Tammy Angel and Seattle Mysteries to other networks and finds their replacements
One of the bigger stories during upfront and renewal season will be how ICE actually sells some of its highest rated shows. ICE is planning on selling Tammy Angel and Seattle Mysteries. The reason why ICE wants to sell both procedurals is b/c the casts on both shows are outdated and they've lost a lot of those actors to other studios. Phederation CEO Pat Devine is likely not going to make any cancellations on his network since all of the ICE programs are in really good shape ratings wise and profiting financially. ICE executives know that these shows have a lot of value to them so their better off selling them than cancelling them. Tammy Angel and Seattle Mysteries have grown all season long in their Wednesday timeslots since moving there in early March. Both shows will really help out the struggling networks needing to fill holes this fall.
ICE has found their replacements finding shows that were similar to the both of them with Tammy Angel's spin-off Teen Angels replacing Tammy and the newest announced pilot is expected to be one of the top pilots that we see get launched this fall as Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars in Stacy's Kid Sisters about a three sisters who have gone through child abuse from their father who raised them on his own and they all become private investigators who solve sex and domestic violence crimes. Both shows will end up on the fall schedule but ICE will start Sam's Kid Sisters as a TV movie pilot this June before returning as a series this September.
Pat Devine (CEO): We hate to have to drop Tammy Angel and Seattle Mysteries as this could be a decision we regret by selling them but we really feel like we need start fresh with our schedule in the fall and the only way to do that is to make difficult decisions like these.
Kevin Smart (President): Were going to have the chance to give the new additions to our studio's roster a chance to work on these pilots and that's the biggest thing for us.
To Hate or Not to Hate and 30 minute soap operas coming this summer
ICE is going to start something new this year when they start programming half-hour soap operas that will be broadcasted live. ICE is planning on finding four soaps to run during the summer and place them on the fall schedule. ICE's first pickup for this plan is a soap they brought UNO called "To Hate or Not to Hate" which is a serial drama about a couple of actors who are competing for roles in Shakespeare's most popular notable play Romeo & Juliet and how the backstage drama effects their performances on the stage while also contributing to a love hate relationship story between the two main characters. To Hate or Not to Hate is expected to be one of the signature soaps on all of television. ICE is making plans to premiere the soap in June before the season is over including a boost around the Soap Awards on June 29th.
Pat Devine (CEO): We've established a great new relationship so far with the executives at UNO as we feel like we can sell a lot of pilots to each other and help each other out. To Hate or Not to Hate will be very casual viewer friendly and could be a big time soap for us. We are very high on starting half-hour soaps as this gives us a chance to add more shows to our roster and succeed our goal of having around 30 shows on our roster this fall.

The Widow gets 2nd season!
Yunjin Kim (as the Widow): I am really glad to know, that our show is that successful. I knew after few episodes aired, that the show is going to get renewed, since the ratings are great!
Zoe Saldana (as Madison): And it is great to see, that UNO trusts us, one week, there were two episodes in a row, and we had a great result for both episodes.
Alex Kurtzman (Drama Coordinator of UNO): Yeah, this show has a really high potential. We have a lot of fans all over the country. The first season will have 13 episodes, the season finale is planned for sometime in the middle of July, but we will be back with the second season in September.
Take me to the light is already renewed as well!
Laura Vandervoort (as Elisabeth): The fate of our show is similar to the Widow´s. I think that the finale will be aired sometime during the summer, but we will have only a short break. I am pretty sure, that the second season will air in September as well.
Stella and Kevin continue even in the Summer
Anna Friel (as Stella): Is our show going to have a break during the summer? I dont know yet. The first season has about 24 episodes. But the thing is, somebody from the television told me, that the show is very likely to be broadcasted only once per week. That way, the season finale would be aired in the middle of August.
Joshua Jackson (as Kevin): The ratings werent bad so far, but I dont know if we will see the 2nd season. I guess that it all depends on the ratings. So watch our show even during the summer and we will meet in September!!

Bradleys vs. Van Horns to end season (SEASON ONE) on Sunday June 3 and will open up new season (SEASON TWO) on Tuesday June 12
The ICE Phederation has made a huge change in their decision to end Bradleys vs. Van Horns season earlier than originally expected. Bradleys vs. Van Horns will be the first ICE program to wrap-up its first season this year on Sunday June 3, 2012 with a 2-hour season finale after The Carpenters Hour. The finale is expected to wrap-up production on May 31st in Oakland but ICE president Keith Smart has revealed that the show has been renewed for a second season which will make it the first ICE program to be officially renewed for the new season and starts its second season and he has fast tracked the series to start airing in the summer as early as Tuesday June 12, 2012 at 8pm which will be its likely timeslot for the rest of the summer although ICE has plans to program the night as a comedy night come July so its possible that Bradleys vs. Van Horns could move to a different night.
Bradleys vs. Van Horns will likely not be on the fall schedule b/c of this decision and the decision was made to keep as many shows as possible but only have the prime shows air on the fall schedule. It's likely Bradleys vs. Van Horns will around 10-12 episodes before going on hiatus and coming back in the winter time. Bradleys vs. Van Horns renewal contract includes special episodes including a TV-movie for the holidays during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Production for season two will start right away on June 4th in Oakland.
Kevin Smart (President): We chose Bradleys vs. Van Horns to run this summer for a few different reasons with the first being so that it can develop more viewers against easier competition, we want to clear space on the schedule for the fall but not cancel a series like this that's performing so well with no help, and Lori Loughlin is going to be busy taping live episodes for Full House this fall so we needed to free up her schedule as much as possible.
My Two Headstrong Daughters will be airing twice a week the rest of the season, She Looks Good & We've Got Each Other are done on ICE
The Tuesday night hit comedy My Two Headstrong Daughters will be getting a lot more extra exposure as it will now be taking residence on live on Saturday nights on the Paramount Pretty schedule at 9:30pm starting next Saturday June 2, 2012 after My Sister Katie. We Love Tiffany will replace She Looks Good at 8:30pm as We Love Tiffany will air right after the very hot Little Darlings. My Two Headstrong Daughters will also start airing on Sundays at 7:00pm with We Love Tiffany as She Looks Good will air with We've Got Each Other airing their season finales on June 5th. The comedies will then be sold to other networks with no returning parts on the cast as star players like Kya Summers (She Looks Good) and Alexandra Krosney (We've Got Each Other) will be inserted into new comedies this fall.
Kevin Smart (President): My Two Headstrong Daughters which has always been taped on Monday nights before the Paramount Pretty comedy block tapes its episodes will now be airing live for the first time ever on June 2nd we are stoked for this new opportunity that the Daughters will have to go live with the rest of our comedies on a prime block where it can get more than 20 million viewers. She Looks Good and We've Got Each Other were really comedies but we need to put our young actors in better projects. Angel McNichol who is the youngest producer in NITRO right now at only 16 years old will be developing a new comedy with Mila Kunis for the fall. We hope to find some work for Kya Summers and Alexandra Krosney. We will also be making a decision on Jenna Rose's future with the ICE Phederation as an ICE Starlet as she got into a major fight with Sasha Pieterse on Monday at the United Center.
ICE Starlets Fight Each Other
Rachel Bilson (ICE Official): Jenna Rose's fight with Sasha Pieterse is not to be tolerated as both girls will find some disciplined action and Jenna Rose might find herself on the way out of here after this. We don't tolerate bullshit like fighting your own sister we're not SBC we're ICE.
Summer Athletic Games Opening Ceremonies set for Wednesday August 8th
The ICE Phederation CEO Pat Devine has announced today to the media around the world that the return of the Summer Athletic Games will be taking place this August from New York City. The Summer Athletic Games are set to open during the last weekend of the Olympics so there's going to be some fierce competition here from the two huge sporting events. Pat Devine main goal is to take the spotlight and the athletes away from the Olympics and establish the Athletic Games as the number one sporting event in the world. The Olympics usually starts to slow down during the days before the Closing Ceremonies so ICE wants to take advantage of that. The Summer Athletic Games will run from August 8-27, 2012. With the Opening Ceremonies being held on a Wednesday on August 8th and the Closing Ceremonies being held on a Monday on August 27th. Both ceremonies will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. These games will also open up the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the main indoor events. Madison Square Garden which is under construction during the summer will be open for the games for that duration then close back up until October.
Pat Devine (CEO): The Athletic Games Time Trials will open on June 12th and end on July 26th before the Olympics start. We will have the best talent in the world and we allow NITRO actors to participate in this show this is going to be a great run this summer.
Maxie Justice: The Summer Athletic Games are the real Olympics not that shit that you will see in London. You will see our event kick their ass in the ratings too.

Three new Toronto's Friends Franchise comedies are announced
David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry are preparing ICE for life without Toronto's Friends for the first time since 2009 with three new spin-offs. Those three spin-offs will be Angry Landlords, DJ Becky, and Rainy Days and they will all feature former Toronto's Friends stars in the lead roles starting with Penn Badgley and Lily Collins in Angry Landlords, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood in DJ Becky, and Victoria Justice, Molly Burnett, and Leon Thomas III in Rainy Days. There will be more info about the premise and casts of these shows at a later date. All three sitcom are expected to begin taping live episodes this fall on ICE.
Introducing crossover characters
ICE is going to introduce a very innovative casting feature called crossover characters where actors from either dramas or comedies will use their same character into their second projects. So a character in one show will crossover into crossover into another one as regulars. Youth of Life and Janit O'Day were the only two shows to experiment with this feature before since both shows were sister shows. ICE's first actor to use this feature will be Manny Santi who will star in the new police drama Teen Angels and her same character in that show will crossover and become a character on Angry Landlords. Both shows are set in Toronto as Manny's character will be used in the drama to feature her work and on Angry Landlords it will profile her character's home life with her new roommates. This is a very unique feature that will bring fans even closer to their favorite characters in two shows at a time. More actors will be revealed using this feature in the coming weeks. ICE is going to use around 10 actors for crossover characters.
