Monday kicked off the 11th week on NITRO and it was a little bit different this week as the central focus was on the NITRO War and in Denver.
ICE's Paramount Pretty comedies went about their regular business as usual in front large sold out crowds but this week was a little different as there was that unexpected feeling that anybody could happen since the comedies are taped live and the last two Paramount Pretty nights something went down during the commercial broadcasts on Thursday and Saturday. It was also the night where Shailene Woodley made her ICE debut on My Sister Katie and the same for Penn Badgley on Toronto's Friends. ICE Starlet Lily Collins revealed that she was going to be kissing Penn in a scene on Toronto's Friends.
SHAILENE WOODLEY & PENN BADGLEY'S ICE DEBUTS = RATINGS!
ICE had a huge night as My Sister Katie grabbed a series-high 12 million viewers helping ICE beat MRA on a Monday for the first time this season. Toronto's Friends with Penn Badgley grabbed the all-time record rating so far with 14.48 million viewers at 10:30pm. Jessica Lowndes post-rape exposure helped Actors get over 13 million and not bleed behind Bachelor in Trouble like it has been doing.
The NITRO War and controversy has clearly helped ICE in a big way as Pat Devine knew what he was doing when he made his ICE Starlets and Stunnas start stuff with other actors in different studios.
ROD had another huge Monday as their comedy block continues to be strong and Agent Lily hit another series-high 13.44 million viewers. ROD also benefited from all of the NITRO drama.
MRA had its worst Monday of the season so far only coming in third place. With the studio staying quiet during the wars look for people to start sliding away from viewing MRA programming this week.
DV had another good Monday with their drama lineup and this week they had a new addition in the 9pm hour with Jennifer Lawrence making her DV debut in the series premiere of The Edge of Glory about a racer who must help support her family. This new drama is now a hit for DV and gives Jennifer something else to brag about.
SBC had its best Monday of the season thanks to the NITRO War Update leading off the lineup. The War Update gave NITRO TV viewers the chance to get all of the updates and interviews from the recent battles over the weekend into Monday. SBC Stars After Dark gave viewers another chance to see the SBC stars talk about the wars and see their celebrities actually texting the other studios. On SBC Stars After Dark viewers got a chance to see DV's Whiz Khalifa actually messaging SBC actors live on the screen.
TCC for a network in last place had a really good night b/c anytime a network can grab over 7 million viewers for its average is a great night. TCC faced some unreal competition on this night as very network brought their A-game. Independence once again improved the timeslot over the failed drama Office Superhero.
