Description: This reality competition slash variety series was made in dedication to Richard Carpenter's deceased kid sister Karen Carpenter. Both of them together during the late 60s and 70s were known as the international sensation band The Carpenters so this show was made in her memory. The Hour is a 9-month competition that puts the best undiscovered singing and dancing talent on the big stage competing for a huge multi-million dollar recording deal from Maple Leaf Records. Whether they are a singer or a dancer they'll have to stick it out against several other opponents who are competing for the same prize. They train hard during those 9-months for the big June finale. The Hour also features a number of variety acts and musical guest performers. (Reality Competition)
