In what was a very boring week at the box office b/c the major releases of the summer are in the books as of last week as kids start gearing up to go back to school in August and September. The story this week at the box office was all about the holdovers from previous weeks like Nice Girls which was still the top movie at the box office overwhelmingly during its second week. Nice Girls became Allison Shields' second movie to gross over $400 million at the box office.

Another draggy week at the box office only features one release which is the first time in a while that the box office has only feature a single release.
