60% and above is considered "fresh" or positive. Anything with a RED, HEALTHY TOMATO is positive. Anything with a GREEN, ROTTEN TOMATO is negative. www.rottentomatoes.com

FYI, I generally do unbiased, random reviews for films...unless I feel it's a unique film or a likely-to-be-Oscar-buzzed film.

Hmm, my math is not working for "Dancing Fever," so I'm just going to make up a rating...also, I just now realized it's the first film I have with only twelve reviews...maybe that's why...

Actually, I'm going to add 2 more reviews for Dancing Fever...I really like the 14 reviews. It's really easy to average.

Darlene and Hollywood will be coming ASAP, but neither are in many, many theaters, so they have less reviews (about 7 or 8 each).

They're up. Please tell me if you think the numbers are fair and if they look good. If anyone wants justification for why I chose the rating I did, let me know. When I rate the film, I try to have at least one film in mind with the ratings about where I want to go, and then I create my own reviews and such. For instance, for JALRD, I went for Talladega Nights. For Ulysses, I went for 300. For Darlene: Sweet Home Alabama, I opted for the Reese Witherspoon comedy, Sweet Home Alabama. Make sense? Let me know what you guys think!

If you want to Spencer you can add these two short reviews to your repertoire. I will be using The American Reporter to determine how many official stars these films will get for value in the syndicated market for movies on television. The other will be the Toronto Star.
Ulysses
"A Steven Spielberg movie in the summertime never disappoints and I mean never." (The American Reporter) Rating: ****
"Ulysses was a great historical figure and its about we got a movie about this man." (The Toronto Star) Rating: 9.2/10
JUST A LITTLE ROLLER DISCO
"Will Farrell is that one man that you want to just joke with all day and in this movie he's practically the same guy that I want him to be." (The American Reporter) Rating: ***
"I've been waiting for this one after the disappointment that was Semi-Pro and I love Farrell as a Disco character." (The Toronto Star) Rating: 7.5/10
AUSCHWITZ
"Nazi film at its finest." (The American Reporter) Rating: ****
"I haven't seen a movie this emotional since Schindler's List." (The Toronto Star) Rating: 8.9/10
DANCING FEVER
"What a unique surprise that basically has two movies in one with a musical drama on one end and a thrill ride on the other. Oh Yeah wait for the last 12 minutes of this movie, JUST SHOCKING!" (The American Reporter) Rating: ***
"This deserves to be put in the same category as Grease, Saturday Night Fever, and FAME." (The Toronto Star) Rating: 8.2/10
MEGAN & DON'S HOLLYWOOD LIFE: THE MOVIE
"This movie is charming but you can really go either way with it." (The American Reporter) Rating: **
"Tries to hard at immolating life in Hollywood when it should focus on itself." (The Toronto Star) Rating: 4.3/10
THE THIEF
"I love Vince Vaughn in most roles but God Damn this was Awful!" (The American Reporter) Rating: *
"You will never see a worse script in your life, just forget you ever saw this mess." (The Toronto Star) Rating: 0.8/10
DARLENE: SWEET HOME ALABAMA
"Kind of a surprise as I like watching Darlene on TV and it did its justice on the big screen." (The American Reporter) Rating: **
"What movie is this trying to be?" (The Toronto Star) Rating: 3.3/10
DUMA KEY
"A good summer fool fest." (The American Reporter) Rating: **
"Loved every second of Duma Key as it knew what type of horror film it wanted to be from the first second you laid eyes on it." (The Toronto Star) Rating: 6.1/10

If I add them, I'll have to recalculate my ratings, and I don't want to do that lol... But feel free to post them in the tomatometer threads.
